Anywhere near a Naval air station that happens. Here in VB there might be 100 jets flying in a given day all extremely low to ground (On takeoff/landing obviously not just cruising).

Also military aircraft are old as chit.

I do appreciate and respect your point. Not to mention I have some sympathy...however there are larger issues that need to be addressed (see Google guy who made the same points re: sexism/tech).

that said...clickbait.

The sad part is crashing a plane that goes that slow (single prop) is much much much more difficult than most planes. You legit land them by gliding in

Nah that T6 Texan is a turboprop that goes over 350 (lol). It's not like dropping a Cessna onto a runway at 45 knots.

Does anyone else think being a 30 year old instructor is pretty sketchy? I thought female fighter pilots was a new thing anyway in the last few years? Don't you also have to get a degree and become an officer? So we're talking less than like 8 years of experience (18-22 college, OCS + flight school before even being a pilot), to become an instructor??? jesus

O rly?

Funny how 2 USN ships had serious fuk ups withina short space of time few years back when they had females in control. In 1 case several sailors died. But yeah keep thinking the military doesn't push diversity hires because of skin, religion and sex.

One flight of exclusively females. All the other aircraft crashes happened with men. But it’s because they were women....

They probably didnt want to eject because they were over a residential area...maybe they wanted to guide it to a safe location then eject because they wouldve felt guilty if it crashed in a house killing a whole family

No YOU get fukked. It's not about the top performers of either sex. I would be willing to bet if you took the bottom worst performers more would be female.

Why? Because you know God damn well MANY female officer pilots are political assignments. For muh diversity. Same thing why so many blacks still fail at top universities.

What are the background qualifications needed to become a flight instructer? I'm also wondering is it specific to a type of a plane or would they be able to instruct on any plane whether its prop or jet?

A turboprop is a jet engine. Don’t get hung up on that. An instructor pilot would be able to instruct from any aircraft as long as they are qualified and current on instructing that specific aircraft.

As this was a trainer, I am confident this instructor was probably qualified (maybe not current depending on her position), to instruct multiple airframes.

From my experience, usually an instructor will follow the normal training/development process as any other operational pilot. After reaching a specific number of flight hours they would be able to request an instructor pilot slot and then go to the IPC (instructor pilot course). I have seen some deviations from this, but generally this is the case.

Obviously I do not, as we both know the DoD doesn't release the data for who is assigned what positions based on diversity hires. But we both know they do.

For example allowing female into combat arms assignments/units. Allowing females into Special Operations combat units. etc etc.

Get fukked for being a liberal mindless midget.

Also we both know females get preferential treatment and a soft hand.
