I know it's not your speed in terms of action though - you might prefer the powder mage series for your next fantasy book or red rising.

That Sherlock one is a collection of short stories written over those time periods hence the long list of dates. I've read it and while it's okay, his powers of deduction aren't that mindblowing tbh. Age is approximately 100 years. Publish date is not apparent but the book looks in good condition. I'd says no later than 80's onwards. Mine is 50 or 60 years old and looks it.

Yeah i looooove books with a lot of action or whatever keeps me engaged and turning pages. I originally got into reading by reading the Odd Thomas series but then is tarted reading Larry Correia (Mr.Bourbon recommended it which is surprising since he can only write with crayons) but once i branched out, i was AMAZED at how boring Koontz and Odd Thomas was

GALACTIC no racist but Mein Kampf is actually a fascinating read - Hitler was a madman but it's crazy how persuasive his writing is. Makes you realize how he was able to take so much power and sway others so easily.
