Chit's on Hulu boyos. If you liked SOA and haven't watched The Shield yet what the absolute fucc. The better Kurt Sutter show by a galactic mile.

This thread tastes like sweet creamery butter.

Picture SOA only they never go to Ireland (lol) and also Walton Goggins aka Boyd Crowder is in like every second scene.

Seen both multiple times. Both are good, but liked The Shield a lot more. Huge fan of Vic and the Strike Team. Just powered thru the series again for the third time.

Narrowly loses to the Wire for the best cop show.

Probably the most underrated TV series srs.

Forest Whitaker kills it in his season, hes one of the only black actors to win an Oscar (1 out of 5 iirc). weird the show is so underrated. probably the network it on.

Also the shows lead is an alpha manlet baldcel so misc will love it.

I LOVED the shield. Thought I'd like SOA cause I heard they were comparable. I stopped after the 4th or 5th episode. It was that bad

Literally all seasons are amazing, lot of TV series fall off hard (cough, LOST).

My favourite is 3. The end of the Stringer/Avon relationship is what does it for me. Stringer trying to make it legitimate and Avon staying true to his roots. Love how they humanize these thugmaxxers. Didn't know which one to root for.

The Shield was definitely one of my favorite shows. I'm really impressed with Goggins' acting range from being able to play a character like Shane Vendrell to a comedy lead in the Unicorn. Dude still looks the same after all these years.

His role in the first episode of Justified was originally meant to be a one off villain of the week type thing, he was so good they rebuilt the show around him.

The Shield was brilliant. Crash! Bang! Wallop!

SOA was really good and had an amazing soundtrack but Shield was on another level.

I wouldn't rate these two against The Wire or Sopranos as I feel like they're different types of shows. Though obviously both better than SOA, it's unfair on The Shield to put it against them.
