1. lost one of my really good friends
2. pandemic all ****ing year, completely screwed my life
3. work ****ing online, made me depressed not interacting with people anymore
4. live in chithole NJ which is gonna shutdown again, after being shutdown until basically September
5. didn't move to another state like I was supposed to(sometime next year now)
6. Grandparents are dropping like flies, and more dumbass family drama
7. Trump lost because of a fraudulent election
8. depression and anxiety off the charts because of the above

I think many of us can relate to your pain OP. Both of my grandparents are dying (although not from covid but cancer). My job has become horrible due to covid, friends and family are struggling hard in these times and I feel like it’s a matter of time before someone close to me kills themself. Stressful raising kids during all this as well. Especially one with respiratory issues (even if covid mostly spares kids).

Only thing I can say is that this might be the test of our generation. My dying grandfather fought in WW2. Obviously life feels a lot more complicated than it seems to have been back then but I’d still take this over sailing on a boat to Normandy or something.

Actually agree. I try to be productive and stay optimistic but this year without a doubt has been the worst since I can remember.

Did it ever occur to you that the intensity of the pandemic that you complain about, the reason why you had to work online/be depressed, and the duress that your grandparents were under, were significantly due to the President whom you cry over?

Get it, but we gotta nut up. I was just talking to a co-worker about how chit 2020 is and, oh yeah, her dad died in a hit and run in May, her 3 year old dog is being put down, and her mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer days ago. Dead srs.

Things could be worse. Appreciate what you have and make the best of the time you have.
