Keurig is great for convenience, but not the best coffee (I say this as someone who's used it for years).
Keurig is the worst coffee brewing system on the planet. For a good cup you need good beans, properly heated water (200-210 degrees), and the proper brew time. Keurig gets all of it wrong, in the worst ways. Nespresso gets much more of it right; the main issue is bean quality, they aren't using the best beans, but they understand exactly how to maximize the quality by using the correct brew parameters, and technology.

^^This. The reusable Kcup(s) has saved us hundreds of dollars I would estimate. I was supposed to have Starbucks mocha this morning but my guy at work ran out, so I had to drink what our company provides. Man I used to love the company coffee, it tastes completely different now after a few weeks of Starbucks mocha and maple pecan, lol.
Always black, though, no matter what brand. Same with tea.
Edit: guy at work is supposed to have some Fire Dept Coffee brand Black Cherry Bourbon on Monday. I'm psyched.

I've seen those but never tried it...may have to give it a whirl. I have like 100 k cups I need to use up, but when they're gone I'm going to switch it up, either with a Nespresso or go back to French Pres...or maybe the reusable k cup. But I need some coffee with a little more oomph.

Usually part of the only black coffee crew but lately I've been experimenting with chit. Had some instant coffee laying around for when my girl and I make whipped coffee so I mix some instant coffee with cashew milk (extremely lactose intolerant) and protein powder (chocolate smooth IYKYK) and holy fuark is it good.

LOL, I get it. I just cram as much coffee in the kcup as possible, works pretty well.

Big fan of french press coffee, I used it for a while some years back before switching. Only concern is that it can raise cholesterol (supposedly) and I'm trying to lower mine a bit.

But hands down the goat cup of coffee taste wise.

I bought 1-2 of these (knockoffs) and they didn't fit our machine, so I spent the $20 or whatever for the Keurig brand one. Utter fkn junk. At least once every week or two the cup would come open during the brewing process and drop a chitload of grounds into my mug.

I switched back to K-cups and just use the Kroger brand breakfast blend + 2 Splenda every morning. It's obviously not a great cup of coffee but it serves it's purpose. When we move and I have more counter space in the kitchen I plan to get a real machine so I can enjoy GOOD coffee on a regular basis again. But for now this works.

I was worried about that but we got these -https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1- and fortunately have had no problems.

Weird, but that does make sense. I have a foodgrade silicone one but the mesh is some kind of metal. I only use when I'm travelling and have to use a keurig. Otherwise I'm not actually a fan of the keurig itself!

By the time I'm finished having my dream coffee set up, it will might as well be a cafe. 😂

Local coffee place called The Roasterie. They roast the beans here and the local grocery store carries them. Always grind my beans fresh crew. Black coffee is all, it helps me fast and keeps me from feeling hungry.

I had nothing but issues with the one I bought, so I threw in the towel. Either it wouldn't brew a good cup, or it filled the damn cup eith grounds.

Some of you need to try my fresh roasted-to-order coffee. I roast 4lbs at a time, and mail by 2 day USPS, so you get it SUPER fresh. My Ethiopia is a killer natural process that's super sweet and fruity, and my Sumatra is OUT****INGSTANDING, one of the best I've had in years. It tastes like ricola, pine, and sweet pipe tobacco, with tamarind tanginess. The misc code is good for a discount....

This is what I'm drinking at the moment. It's very commercial so nothing spectacular, but it's a solid coffee. Chiapas is probably my favorite coffee region in Mexico

Kenyan coffee is my favourite. It's strong and it has an earthy sweet-ish taste depending on the brand and quality of the beans. Would recommend you try it.

Never had Rwandan, but if my shop has some beans, I'll buy a few grams to give it a taste.
