What age do you want to die at and why?

Had a weird discussion with my neighbor today about mortality.

Did you ask him, or did he ask you?

Careful mate, they will call the white coats on you and then you'll be locked in an insane asylum.

Depends when I get to a point where it hurts to move and I can no longer do anything I enjoy. Based on my parents and grandparents that should be mid 80's. Downside is most of them lived to mid-late 90's and the last decade was them being bitter and miserable because all they could do was be wheeled in front of the TV and needed a special van to go places. Listening to them casually state they were ready to die for 5+ years while they just waited is just painful.

I had a taste of it when I slipped a disc in my back and couldnt move for a year. Fuk all that. Ill OD myself.

I turn 30 in 2 days, so that would be a pretty good time. Otherwise, whenever I can't do the things I enjoy and start to become decrepit, so probably in the 60s.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

85 or so. Die before I become miserable and senile. It’s so weird to think about the fact that I will die one day

Until I am totally convinced that my daughter is truly happy, I refuse to die.

There always should be something this old man still could do for her happiness as long as I am alive.

Before you end up like those old people who are basically dead in a wheel chair with an oxygen tank, getting taken care of by some Jamaican chick. So 85-90. 34 now so thats a good 50 years. thats enough life

As old as possible, but the how is key.

I think dying in the bush, eaten by wolves or falling through the ice would be preferred to hooked to machines in the false sterilized stench of a hospital.

I would prefer to go when I am unable to take care of myself. My worst nightmare is being bound to a bed or wheel chair with people having to bathe me and wipe my ass. I want to check out once I'm physically or mentally unable to take care of myself. I do not want to be a burden to my kids/wife.

I think that life is fundamentally good, so more is better. So long as I can enjoy physical and mental pleasures I would like to live as long as possible. Could be 70 could be 170 depending on how biotech and longevity medicine progresses.

Watched the vid....my eyes filled with tears.

Taiwanese are really honorable people, as parents and children unlike those mainland communist Chinese. We Japanese always respect them. *bow*

Like this man's father, my late father was a soldier and had served JGSDF(Japanese Ground Self Defense Forces) for 35 years.

I wish my daughter someday would remember me even slightly like this father in the video.

Thank you m'friend for sharing this story, means a lot. *again bow*

FraudCostanza,

Do you think being a retired young millionaire you will be provided the opportunity to lead a longer life than someone who isn't young, rich and retired?

Will you conduct another giveaway before you perish?

I want to live to see my kids through college and settle into adulthood.

My ex-wife took it hard when her dad died and she was 30 or so, but she was a fully grown woman with a family of her own. That is what I would want for my kids.

So, vasectomy at 50, and if I have another kid between now and then, I expect to make it to 75 min.
