Some are. When all is said and done, about half of the extra and premature deaths will be caused by the lockdowns themselves. And yes, I agree the numbers are starting to desensitize people. The legacy media are playing a game of 3 card monty with the numbers right now.

When the virus is in 5% of us like it was 2 months ago, then jumps to over 10% of us, it's going to be detected in at least 2x as many people that die. State and federal officials have already admitted this. Automatically looks like 2x as many are dying from the virus, when over 2x are merely dying WITH it. Not to mention deaths go up this time of year, every year. Back to the original point though, yes some are dying from it. At least it isn't as random as the flu with who it kills. The death of 82 yr old grandma living by herself, labeled a Covid death is easier to get through than 37 yr old Bob who dies of flu, with 2 young kids at home.

Also I remember when cctv footage was leaked from China before Covid started spreading overseas. People were passing out in public and dropping dead. That’s not just the flu.

If all these precautions weren’t taken and we let the virus spread from the beginning then things could’ve been disastrous

Easy now. It can cause inflammation of the lungs and I understand exactly how it causes the damage it does to organs. I also can explain part of the reason why the cytokine storm happens. By itself it is killing 6% of listed as dying from it. That doesn't mean only 6% died from it. For people with multiple metabolic disorders and/or are immunocompromised already (cancer, some autoimmune disorders) it can cause a cascade of other health problems. Thing is, almost half of the people dying are dying because they developed pneumonia with their severe symptoms. Everything mentioned can be caused by the flu.

The question becomes would this person be alive if they didn't develop Covid? For many no, they'd be dead anyway. They died, and the virus had been in their body at some point in the last 4-8 weeks. Completely unrelated. Others...they were in such **** shape already....this may have taken them a few weeks or months earlier than their due date. The ones who catch the virus, spend 4 weeks in the hospital and die with organ damage, those are the ones who would still be alive if not for Covid. Doctors are not allowed to differentiate. They are merely doing what they're told. Positive SARS-Cov2 test? Then list it as 1 of the 5 causes of death, even if there's no way to say it was a cause.
