Tbh it you know it's coming and has been coming for a while, and you want it to happen... Just pre-empt it, and move on.

I always hated that "we need to wait until tomorrow to talk about it and make it an event." That's not useful or productive to either of you. I have had girls get upset about that, but ultimately, it's just better that way. It's not a relationship event, it's the termination of one. It's you two agreeing to become strangers again, so it's only fitting that it happens quickly and without much ado.

It's usually better for both of you not to treat it like a momentuous event that needs time set aside for.

You seem to be taking it as well as you could, so good for you on that. However, having heard women say that type of crap enough over the years, I wouldn't even bother "having a talk" about your relationship with her at all. That type of talk is female code for "I am bored with you and want to go ride other cawks instead". 90% chance it would just end her dumping you like you said, 10% chance a "talk" would simply drag out the inevitable breakup process.

There is almost zero chance of it changing anything, because her mind has probly been made up for months now, and there's a high probability that another guy is already in the picture somehow. It's not worth the effort and listening to their bs when they start talking like that and indicating that they're just waiting to finish it off. IMO call her up, tell her you're dumping her and proceed to go full NC. Might as well have a bit of fun and get a chuckle or two knowing that would drive her absolutely batchit bonkers on your way out since it's over anyway.
