If you hold a coin that had an ICO open to US customers you need to exit. Ripple is just the big boy the SEC is using to get everyone’s attention.

Of course XRP is just the start of regulators coming after cryptos. It's all about precedent in these legal matters. That's why so many people talked **** about XRP. It just bring negativity into the space. Makes it easier for dumb **** to pass like having to KYC your own personal wallet.

XRP under 900 sats...that's chitcoin territory right there. All time high is 25,000 sats. Wow.

This is 100% wrong. Ripple was funding their company with the xrp token sales. The coin is literally useless and ripple has other projects they developed and sold to clients. The fact there even is a company to sue speaks for itself. Ethereum had an ICO open to the US. Good luck suing ethereum

This has always been my understanding. How can you defend a project against being security if it held an ICO?

The nuanced question is whether something like an IEO will be lumped in with ICOs in the eyes of regulators.

My hope is that Defi isn't crippled by this.

I love the pumps from xrp, made me a fair amount... But they were always bad for crypto.

This is good for bitcoin/eth.

SEC!! SEC!! SEC!!!! Cmon guys, cheer them on! Hope they target another chitcoin soon. Sorry for your loss Will, but it was bound to happen and we will see more of this moving forward. 2021 is bear territory for most stocks and cryptos. Both markets are very overvalued.

The reason I hope that the entire crypto market collapses is because it will flush out all the chitcoins. The market is just filled with speculators and insane valuation and almost no usecases. It must die, then it can re emerge from the ashes as something better than a casino.

Don't even feel sorry for some of these delusional xrpamy folk, it was because of them that this scam coin stayed in the crypto space sucking others in. It'll still get scam/settlement pumps, but their reputation in the industry is just screwed. No one wants their company name anywhere near them.

I dunno, there is something suspicious about this ripple thing. I don't know what it is about it, but I'm going to keep a small bag. The Clayton thing is weird

Just look at the last 2 pages here about alts and the overall market sentiment.

Compare that to thread vol 3 around page 100 I think. I'll edit this post when I find a direct link.

It's really funny to see and watch. I'm guilty of it too.

Now if 90% of my portfolio was in XRP like it was pre-airdrop i would be in actual Rajc "i am financially ruined" tears right now. Anyway besides Tezos looking like the new BAT. I did read this today that made my eyebrow raise.

"Adam Cochran, a partner at Cinneamhain Ventures, was one of the first to break the story that Coinbase had conversations about suspending XRP trading.

Cochran hinted that the SEC are probably looking into more projects and companies than people realize. He said:

“If you thought my scoop on Coinbase delisting/suspending $XRP was insightful, you’re going to love the next scoop I’m working on, this week. Looks like that SEC is far more active than we thought and sniffing around a number of projects and companies”.”

Might be time to start taking ethereum and btc profits soon because if that's true, the whole market is about to correct
