As I said before, vaccine should be a personal decision for each person based on risk tolerance. If you are in an at-risk group for COVID (i.e., COVID will actually have a deleterious effect on you), then you should take the vaccine. If not, you should be free until science has a chance to evaluate the long-term effects of the vaccine. Calling anyone who doesn't want to take the COVID vaccine an anti-vaxxer is purposefully misleading and intellectually dishonest -- there is a marked difference between ppl who don't want to take a vaccine where the long-term effects have not been studied vs. the standard battery of vaccines that have gone through all the rounds of testing.

COVID long-term effects are linked to tissue dmg, btw, which really only happens w/ ppl who had a serious reaction in the first place, so it is just more of the same calculus in evaluating your risk tolerance.

Again, stop being a dogmatic zealot and try actually believing in science (i.e., the pursuit of knowledge).

I suspect this effect carries at the state level as well as this federal dataset.

Again, if folks want to freak out about Covid or The Flu, or whatever other disease is out there, they are free to do so. I live in NYC, full of neurotic idiots. I also know a ton of folks that never wear a mask, never social distance, and live their life as normal with zero negative consequences. I never did any of that for the flu or for colds and am not going to start now. I may get the vaccine, but having known many friends and family with covid that basically said it was a weak flu, I would only get it if it was part of a general flu/covid shot. I'm not going to bother just for this one virus. Yes, if I was 80+ years old or I had AIDS or something I probably would get it, but if you're under 50 and reasonably healthy, you're either neurotic or braindead if this disease actually concerns you.
