Adding everyone who's publishing their usernames ITT.

We have enough players to begin a tournament so I'm going to set that up.

Proposing that we leave sign-ups open to miscers until Wednesday 6 Jan @ 12pm my local time (UTC +3), but last minute sign ups are fine I guess. Don't cry to me like a bish if you miss this tourney, we'll probably do another one (until chessbrah discovers this thread and starts bottoming all of us out).

Unless miscers are opposed I'll set the tournament for 48 hour per move time controls and will be naming the club "Hitler Did Nothing Wrong" unless you *******s come up with something better.

What you mean tourney? Misc chess members would play VS each other? On lichess? Or chess com? What time control? Please don’t make it long... soooooo boring, do it like 3 minute blitz or something.

Yes, setting up a tournament with all chessbrahs ITT on chess.com

Time controls are going to be 48 hours per move to accommodate for peoples' schedules, sorry brah. 3-minute blitz games can be set up on Lichess and then the link invite posted here as exxtracool did on #24 so people who ready to play rn can jump in, plus it bumps the thread.

Lel at 48 hours per move, brb games last until Trump’s 4th term. Longer time controls = Some brahs will use their phone... you know dis LOL

3 min blitz or shorter is really the ONLY way to at least almost guarantee a fair game.

I actually want to get good at chess brah and I enjoy thinking about all the possible moves, so I have no reason to use my phone.

I would play 3 min blitz but people's schedules aren't compatible for all parties involved to sit down for a straight game. Maybe 48 hours is too much and 12 would be better?

When Trump faces a reality she can't stand, she becomes highly emotional and illogical. Every crisis is met by histrionics, tantrums and an inability to deal with facts. "Its a HOAX! Its a FRAUD!"

The emotion then becomes the reality. Those of us with girlfriends are familiar with this phenomena. Donald Trump menstruating 24/7: "Blood coming out of his eyes, blood coming out of his WHEREVER."

I've been playing 3min blitz today and I either blunder/mistake every other move or completely wreck them. Think I need to get better at long matches first.

Took forever for my blitz to catch up to my rapid. There's still a big gap between my best blitz and best rapid though. Don't see it changing.

Yeap. Blitz and bullet are hilarious. Currently I’m At 2200, off 100 points from my 2300 peak, and I lost to a beginner trap yesterday to a 2300 player who mated me in under 10 moves, I missed mate in 1 also, right at the start... Then I caught a 2300 player in another beginner trap and he gave up two pawns and resigned in about 10 seconds from the start etc. Sometimes you want to kill yourself for the moves you play LOL

Like I’d be wining like +10 or more, then play a move that allows mate in 1 and my opponent misses it... etc. just WTF...

Love chess. Didn't have internet for a while in high school, but had a chitty laptop. Played the pre installed chess game on there alot.

Have no idea about strategy, tactics, ect. But if y'all don't mind I'm gonna hang out itt and read, learn, and may ask questions.
