So two games are played simultaneously? One where you're white, and another where you're black?

If so, what happens if you split the games.

Advancement is based off of an accumulation of game wins? or points? or what

i believe everybody plays everyone so in the end winner is the one with most points right?

It's round robin. Everyone plays everyone and the best record wins. That means there's going to be about 28 games per player.
