Karma is possibly the biggest cope in existence. I mean don't get me wrong, I realise that it's tempting to convince yourself that there's some sort of balance in the World or the Universe, but it's just wrong. We're basically just random genetic vessels in a chaotic and uncertain reality. Bad things happen all the time and it doesn't always have a counterbalance. Babies get crushed by tractors when they momentarily fall out of their pram. Openly cruel behaviour may get people arrested, but cunning cruel behaviour can go elusive and never result in a comeuppance.

Karma is essentially a cope. If somebody is an a$$hole to you, you want to believe that "they'll get theirs", but there's no guarantee that will happen. Yes, people's sh!tty behavioural patterns may get noticed, but they also may be rewarded with success by equally sh!tty people and end up mindlessly happy with their success. Anyways once you accept all of this, you are more free and less bound by psychological dependence on faux-morality that gets you nowhere. Peace

Call it whatever you want but I most certainly believe in the balance of things. If you take a look at your body and its cells as a micro example of what the universe could be like, your body doesnt arbitrarily do whatever. It needs overall balance and the systems within your body regulate itself to achieve that balance else you will die.

When you do things to throw off that balance in your body, over time it catches up and leads to problems.
To that affect I do believe in the fact that you get what you put out. If you go around putting out bad energy, bad vibes, bad intentions in the world, you will ultimately over time surround yourself with the same energy and vice versa. Maybe its cope.......we only see a tiny fraction of what is actually going on in the grand scheme of things. But if its cope, ok im cool with it.....whats the alternative? Just go around not giving a fack?

Literally none of any of this made sense until the last three sentences.

Seen this happen soo many times in business and Im sure it happens exponentially more outside of business (social networks, families, etc)

I always operate with a mindset of how I can add value to every interaction I have in business. I am not so much concerned up front with what I may get back. The cards with play themselves out and all I do is sit back and connect the dots when they do. If nothing is showing itself, I just operate on the above stance of how I can add value while staying genuine in my approach.

being well liked helps both in life and in business. i never talk politics outside the family for this reason. that being said as far as employees respect is king.

Technically karma has nothing to do with what you get in this life, it is your "reward" in the next life according to Hindus, be it good or bad and decides your life chain. I also do not believe in it at all.

Im not saying you should believe in it or not.....nobody actually knows. But if you believe that your energy is only here for the 70 years or so time slot of the billions of years existence of the known universe, then we are in disagreement there. I believe this life we are living is a sliver of time for your energy.

This is pantheism and it doesn't solve the problem of evil. If we are all just part of the universe and it is us then you are basically Hitler.

I mean, energy obviously can neither be created nor destroyed. So all energy has necessarily always been here and always will exist until the universe reaches maximum entropy and the universe has its heat death. But that has nothing to do with karma.

Life is just bacteria mutated into a complex form. There's nothing particularly divine or 'spiritual' about our consciousness, we're essentially just a more locomotive form of fungus. The whole 'the universe is conscious' or a higher life form is open to interpretation. I definitely find that a lot of people 'humanify' that concept to the point where it becomes cope too.

Isnt that part of our DNA? The human mind is all about exploration, innovation and hope. How do you think we went from walking around in fur clothes to now hopping in autonomous vehicles and exploring the stars? If you look at history, its proven itself than there is actually more than what you see. If you dont beleive that, then cool. Our existence here on earth is still one in the same. What motivates and drives you to make the best of this time on earth whether its a dude with long hair in a robe, the possibility of a bigger energy system not known to our eyes, or a six armed blue elephant doesnt matter to me. What matters to me is how people choose to act when I interact with them and that is typically driven by something they believe in or past experiences.

Just lmao your whole post is nihilistic cope.

There are concepts beyond your grasp as a primitive ape monkey human.

The universe is built upon order.

The entire solar system functions in a repeatable mathematical way observed over thousand of years by ancient man.

That heavenly order is the basis for most religious forms of thought.

How the cosmos interact and their relationship with the natural environment we humans find ourselves in is hard to explain.

For thousands of years ancient man observed celestial bodies in the sky, straight up worshipping the sun.

The sun rises and sets everday, symbolizing life, death, and rebirth.

Karma is a concept which draws from the natural order of the universe.

Just like life death and rebirth.

A hard concept for the ignorant western man to grasp.

Think about this?

You don't belive in karma?

Thousands of years ago europeans slaughtered native Americans, stealing their land and degenerating their culture.

Now 400 years later, the western white males reign has come to an end.

They are getting displaced by minorities, gays, women.

If that's not karma I don't know what is lmao.

Even the ancient maya predicted this chit in 2012 lmao.

If that's true what is the name of the exact specific bacterial strain all life evolved from?

And why haven't all primates evolved into human beings?

Why would all primates evolve into Homo sapiens when a freak random mutation in one caused a random divergence?

Is karma just another word for probability? I think I believe in probability.
Entire NYPD should go on strike. You'll see then how quickly the mayor changes his tone.

It's not a law and it's not a guarantee but most of the time, what goes around comes around. The rule of ill-gotten gains. Get involved in shady dishonest business it goes both ways. Cheaters depend on others playing by the rules. You go looking for trouble, you'll eventually find it.

A recent example would be the squeeze on the hedge funds. The a long time they were making money hand over fist, being able to make money off losses of investments they didn't invest and making those who did invest take the losses. Sure, they knew what happened, could happen, but knew that nobody was big enough to make it happen and then we know what happened. Then when the blade was already deep into their chests, and the damage was done, some people tried to twist the blade to really drive it in or just to get really greedy and then everyone pulled out and they lost it.
