Not many people are gang banging and shooting each other up out in rural areas. Even though there are a lot of drug problems. Its the people that live in the cities doing the raping and killing

Yes, obviously. I can’t believe it’s even a debate, people should not be allowed to own something that you can point and click and end somebody else’s life. It’s sad that it’s gotten to the point where you almost have to have one just to keep yourself safe from other people that have them.
Remember the guy that gave up? Neither does anybody else.

Just ban murder
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Guns in citizen hands are to prevent government tyranny. They are 100% necessary. Every genocide in history was precluded by gun confiscation.
If you want less murders then push for more mandatory life sentences and capitol punishments for those who murder others in cold blood. (When there is no argument to be made for self-defense).
Look at the stats: A guy robs a 7/11 and shoots the clerk, he gets caught and goes to jail for like 10-20 years tops. Then he's back out and does it again. This is the problem, not guns.
An unprovoked murder should result in the execution of the murderer in my opinion. An eye for an eye. This is how it used to be in America and the second they started being lenient on murderers is the second it got out of hand.

If people want to kill, people will kill.
The black market exists.
If I get a DUI, they do not take your right to drink away because I can't act responsibly with alcohol.

I bought an AK (Romanian)during March after the lock down with 1000 bullets and 3 mags and a drum mag for 1100, fast forward to today, and that whole set is worth almost 2600, with the bullets included.

How can you have any gun control or any kind of gun consciousness when the media is constantly showing a hero or anti-hero using guns to solve a problem? It seems very paradoxical.

The only way it would work is to confiscate ever firearm in the US and prevent all firearms from entering the country.
Impossible.
A little bit of gun control (and that's what it is after all) will not have a significant effect on anything.

More people die from health problems due to obesity.
If anything the federal government should control sugar.

I could use one of my huge Japanese kitchen knives
I could use my bow
I could use any long metal item from my toolbox
I could sabotage someone's vehicle
I can make things go boom with regular items that are found in most households
I can go on and on.
Someone wants to cause damage? They'll find a way to do it. I'd rather have the option to be able to defend myself. I'm Canadian btw.

More people die from automobile accidents that are 100% avoidable but I don't see anyone yelling at the top of their lungs to find ways to save those lives.
Because guns are scary to people who know NOTHING about them and these are the people who the new administration are trying to please.

The problem is everyone all of a sudden is a gun owner, so prices goes up to absurd prices

No, we need longer prison sentences for the POS who are out there committing crimes with guns. Law abiding gun owners are not the problem.
