Any bagholders here? (stocks/crypto)

- Held heavy crypto bags for 4 years buying some ****ty altcoins (deepbrainchain and snovio) at the peak in 2017. Lost 95% of my investment which was 5k USD. Recently turned these ****ty altcoin into BTC but the amount is so small it does not really matter.

- Held heavy AMC bags and sold after -50% loss (lost 2k USD)

- Currently holding heavy BB bags down -50% (down 2k USD)

Also i was up 80k USD on GME investment but did not take profits and sold with 22k USD profits. Any other bagholders here?
Im new to investing btw and i only do shares

I was -$20k for months last year but used it as an opportunity to DCA down and that - has now turned into a pretty decent +

I got into NEM before 2015. That wasn't a baghold.


But a lot of things I bought after 2015 either went down, stagnated or were outright scams. Even the ERC-20 tokens I bought in 2020 only like 2 actually went up and reversed the losses I had on the other stuff. So that is implying if I was doing 4 figure or 5 figure investments per ERC-20 then I could potentially had lost a lot of money if I didn't have those two things go up...

what stock/crypto was this? this can be a good strategy if the fundamentals are solid and the company has good long term outlook. but i will rather put my money in other stocks such as XPEV, PLTR & TSLA

Damn why did you paper hand so fast after only losing 2k?

Should have wrote covered calls to recoup your cost basis and let the underlying equity appreciate as the price has already took a bath, it can only go up.

I make $500 dollars a week selling covered calls on BB, NOK, AMC, SNDL.

After a month I would have recouped my 2k and still had the underlying in my portfolio.

Diamond hands all day bby

Bag holding AMC right now and down 11k lol. Don't mind waiting the squeeze is coming. Even if it doesn't squeeze AMC is a good fundamental stock. It was trading higher then it is now before covid.

i hope it squeezes but i didnt like the fundamentals with AMC tbh thats why i sold with a major loss. even before COVID AMC had some problems, what makes you think they will disappear all of a sudden?

My chitcoins have gone back to almost 70% of what I was worth in 2017 after years of dumping

Going to sell the second it hits 80% and hopefully make it out 20k ahead

If I'd put that into btc in 2017 not ven then I'd be worth about 300k now

im a previous btc bagholder but probably invested less than 3k. Bought in at around 9k sold at a loss but most of that was also through altcoins.

Only thing I'm "bag holding" is BB but I already knew it was gonna be a LT stock. Has lots of potential with their QNX software and the next few years should be really good ( I hope) lol.

lost a ****load from ICOs in 2017-2018 cryptomania. Was up a lot at the same time.

Now I just focus on bluechip stocks, btc , eth , defi bluechips and good etfs.

I do speculate and do some degen ****, but majority of my investments are fundamentally based and companies that generate profit.

I was up 15k on GME and didn't sell at the top like a retard and sold for about 1k profit.

Three cryptos I own rn are BTC, ETH, and ADA. They've all treated me well.
