Based on multiple surveys I've read, most women prefer men with brown hair. However, this doesn't tell us much since there's a huge difference between dark brown and light brown hair.

The dark stands for dark hair/eyes. Skin color is not necessarily what it entails, but usually black hair have nice tans.

I went to school in a very white suburb during the 3rd wave emo era (which was roughly 2004 to 2010). Tons of emo/scene kids were popping up and there were definitely a lot chicks who were into this look.
