If you lift consistently for a few years and keep a BF <12% you will be considered fit and have an attractive body. Of course, it's all about the face but still...

Don't overcomplicate it. Lift, be thin and enjoy your life.

Some guys use it as an excuse to eat like **** and get fat, for sure.

Most people who take it seriously stay pretty lean.

Thin as in low body fat % - 12 or less. The vast majority of women find that most attractive. If you're trying to get massive, you're appealing to men or a minority of women. Which is fine - I wish I was 225 lbs and 10% but I ain't on dat dere and don't have the genetics of the gods / Arnold. The idea that you'll get more chicks if you're "jacked as fuk moving weight" is pretty off-base

Definitely, as an ecto the best I ever looked was when I was focusing on strength, I was doing weighted dips with 45kg 5x5, weighted chins 37.5kg 3x5, squatting 100kg 5x5 and repping out handstand push ups.

I’ve learnt that strong compounds equal size, you can be doing a bro split with 7 different exercises with drop sets and super sets all day but if your compounds aren’t strong you most likely won’t have any size.

You get more chicks having a personality, being comfortable with who you are, and having people skills. Most girls won't rule you out based on physique unless you're at extremes. I've been more than a few girls' first "jacked" dude. I just don't bring it up beforehand and shrug it off if they do. If they want to smash, they clearly find me attractive. Nothing else needs to be said. They'll often bring it up when my shirt comes off or after the fact.

Most dudes who use the gym and lifting to hide personality issues have the character depth of a puddle.

You'll have to admit, you just picked dudes at the extreme end of the spectrum that compete at super heavyweight. Of course they aren't going to be aesthetic. If you compete in a lower weight class, it benefits you to be as lean as possible so you can carry as much muscle as possible while fitting within your weight class.

Why does everyone just default to super heavyweight dudes? Of course they look terrible.

Not fair to compare strength athletes who aren't in weight classes. Bloatmaxxing is obviously the way at this point, so nobody's going to look good regardless of muscle mass.

Try powerlifters who are in the 242 lb class or something

The dudes you listed have mostly unaesthetic physiques ("Too big", blocky waists, short in some cases, not a great taper, etc)

Again, lean does not mean aesthetic

Brb more strength = moving more weight for more reps = more work done = more growth = more jacked = more aesthetic.

Chris is a pretty strong guy.

Is comparing an Arnold winner posing in contest shape to a powerlifter taking a chill picture really a fair comparison?

Would be perfectly fine looking like either, though, tbh. Would much rather have Dan's lifting numbers, though.

there is simply no way to get a dense muscular look, natty or not, without getting to some bare minimum of strength on the basic compounds.

I've never seen it in real life or misc, a guy who looks solid asf without being able to bench/squat/dead a respectable amount for their bodyweight.

try and do 10 x 10 flys of 50 lbs and see how big it gets you

Muscle growth and strength progression occur via progressive overload; this can include: progressing in the amount of weight being lifted, shorter rest times, improvement in muscle contraction, higher volume, etc.

Some of the most aesthetic dudes I’ve met irl (not online nerds w/no AVIs) weren’t the strongest guys. And don’t use heavy creatine users as an example, when they’ve also got top tier genetics to go along w/their heavy creatine use.

Becuase these are aesthetic

“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."
