Its been proven long time ago that hedge funds scrape wsb for tickers. Those DD are probably written by hedge fund employees.
During gme run, one hedge fund made $380 million.
Hedge funds participate on meme stocks why wouldn't they easy to make bag holders.

Was able to end flat today thanks to RKT. Only other greens in my account are SE, FUBO (both thanks to solid earnings), and SQ.
ROKU gave away all of yesterday's gains because of a share offering (it was going to come sooner or later). Bullish in the long run.

Why would anyone want to move to states like NY, Cali, IL, NJ? They're broke and constantly hunting for more taxes. People are fleeing those states in droves. I think NYC real estate is about to tank.

I have always wanted to live in NYC, but my career doesn't pay me enough to afford a one bedroom in Manhattan. Let's say I would want to spend $3500.
With my current income, I could comfortably afford $2k/month in rent/utilities. This would allow me to save $2.2k/month even after food/bills/401k. With $3.5k rent however, you can see that my savings would drop to $700/month at best. I'm not comfortable doing that.
My question is this: is it feasible to rely on stock market gains to make up the difference? To me, making an additional $2k/month doesn't seem difficult, but I just don't know what trading is like in a normal (non clown world) market. Keep in mind, my job allows me to work from home so I have the luxury of monitoring the markets all day long.

Banking on making 2K a month to based on trades seems crazy to me. The risk that there will be a down month and you will lose money is just too great, imo. You’d also need 25K in your account to day trade which you’d probably need to do to make 2K a month. And if you have that much you’re probably better off just using your savings to cover any issues that might come up.

But I wouldn’t want to live there and whatever charm people see in it probably doesn’t exist in the pandemic. But to each their own.

Yo Anybody hear from the guy that sold all his RKT at $22? Should we check on him?
I sold half my shares at $29 early today
I was extremely tempted to sell the rest end of day at 41 but held.
My prediction for tomorrow: It opens lower and ends the day around $29-30

This week I bought $5k physical Gold @ $1740 plus 5% premium. For long term holding. And some silver coins/rounds for the aesthetics. The start of my collection. It's so hard to predict what to buy now adays on the stock market, so I am mostly holding, occasionally buying. Been buying mostly Asia of late (baba/tencent/jd.com/TSM/etc).
It's nice to see some of my risky plays paying off. I got mocked for buying Cruiseline/Boeing/Airline/Dave and Busters/etc back in March/April 2020 after Covid slammed the market. Wish I bought Tesla or Bitcoin but investing is full of regrets, but happy to be up like 50%
Funny enough my best stock was the free way Robinhood gave me, up like 300% lmao, and I have a grand total of $70 worth fml

It was at 46 . Now 36. Normal for big swings.
In fact everything turned red. We were pretty green. Now red.
But anyways. Any stock that goes up 100% in two days usually goes down. That's why call credit spreads are ez trades but man you get such bad leverage
