Basically close female friend who I’ve been friends with longer than I’ve known my gf. Gf only recently found out about how we had met (at a party) and how this female friend had caught feels pretty hard for me and had a hard time being friendzoned.. but we’re still friends for a reason and I’m not gonna end that. I also have literally 0 intentions of cheating whatsoever so yeah

Actually curious on the miscs opinion on this... what would you do in my situation? I’ve already made up my mind and we’re studying/hanging out next week after not having seen each other in a while

I would hope you and your gf trust each other enough to be open about it. In a trusting relationship there shouldn't be a need to hide things like this.

Nothing wrong with hanging out with another girl if your gf is cool with it - but if you have to lie or go behind her back so that it can happen, you’re in the wrong. What you’re doing is manipulating your girlfriends reality to get what you want.

I’m not saying to not do it, as I get sometimes girlfriends get too jealous and it’s very offputting as well as I’ve cheated on my old old ex many times, just telling you like it is

From my experience the less lies or weird chit you need to contrive in a relationship the smoother it works. Eventually with enough lies it becomes this jumbled mess that is just based on fakeness

Invite her over while your gf is there and study. Why are you going out of your way to study with this girl anyways? I don't believe guys and girls can be friends if the girl thinks the guy is attractive unless the girl is too ugly to fuk for the guy.

Didn’t read responses opie, but your only option is to establish boundaries with your gf while still being respectful to her.

Not being friends with your friend will inevitable lead to resentment of your gf on your end, and hiding it from your gf is unhealthy.

Either your gf appreciates your honesty, trusts you, and accepts it, or she doesn’t, and you guys split up. Either way, it’s a good outcome.

There’s nothing wrong about hiding your female friend that is romantically interested in you from her and definitely nothing wrong with studying alone with her without telling your gf.

It’s not like you’re interested in banging your friend so it totally doesn’t matter how your gf feels about you spending time with her or you lying about it
