Sup brahs some of you probably remember me posting about nearly getting K/Oed by meningitis and losing all my gainz.
Here's a transformation vid I made of the 8 months that passed shortly after that phase of my life.
Love you brahs and thanks so much to those who supported me in that time. Got some very nice msgs from you sikkunts.
Misc trolls but actually bands together when bad **** happens.
Give it a like if you enjoyed, means a lot.

I actually got myositis in my calves after hospital and had to spend another month bedridden. What was ur training routine like? ur end proportions r godlike but your lift numbers are way higher than mine I haven’t gone heavy cuz my joints feel like they r shot
Then dropped to 5x/week full body. I also did an upper lower split 3x/week during that time period.
Basically, I trained each muscle a MINIMUM of 3x a week, usually as high as 5x.
And yeah, so that you can recover properly you need to be quantitatively tracking volume (AKA how many hard working sets) if you're going to train with high frequency like this.
Doing 15 sets of chest a week will destroy you at high frequencies. Reason being, your work quality is so good becuase you're fresh at the start of every new day, meaning you can lift heavier weight and so each set creates more stimulus (& more fatigue too).
I tracked literally every ****ing rep I did, and I still do.
If I hadn't tracked and just gone by feeling, I'd have absolutely ****ed my body and not recovered.

>Ate roughly 2000-3000 calories over maintenance each day (yes that's 2000-3000 cals of SURPLUS. So like 5k a day at least) and tapered this down to 500 as I got closer to my old size
>Ate over 250g protein erry day. For people whose muscle memory is driving growth, there's no research on how much protein they can use per day. Because I was able to grow at faster rates, I needed more protein than the scientific guidelines for natural bodybuilders.
>Slept 10-13 hours a day. I had a biphasic sleep schedule to get this much sleep. I would sleep from 9pm-5:30am, train morning clients , go back to sleep at 11-12, wake up at 2-4pm, lift, train evening clients, rinse and repeat. I slept this much because I needed it to function, but it probably helped muscle growth a tonne just as a nice coincidence
>Trained each muscle a 3 times a week MINIMUM
>Took every set close to muscle failure (once it felt safe)
>I tracked EVERY rep & set and calculated weekly volume
>Focused on progress in performance (i.e. strength) more than aesthetics (i.e. muscle). Even when muscle growth is fast, it's slow. IMO it's always way more rewarding to focus on what your body can do.

The thing is with training, science can kind of point you in the right direction, but nothing can tell you what's best for YOU with much accuracy.
The best approach (& the one I used) was to start with very low volume (e.g. 8 sets per week per muscle group) and methodically increase it until you you can't tolerate any more.
This requires that you track like you're ****in obsessed with the data, because a data-driven approach will ALWAYS outperform the wishy washy "oh yeah I trained hard that session" feeling-based approach

Im currently going through some werid health problems that doctors have no answers for and suffering for 9 weeks now
health problems are the scariest thing..
i will appreciate life a lot more when and if.. im better
current symptoms:
forehead numbness on and off. Weird burning feeling in forehead and sometimes other parts of body. Brain fog, dizziness and vision unsteadiness. Sometimes chest tightness and mucus.
pLs respond if those are similar symptoms
