In part. Good policies (trump) and chitty ass policies (democrats) can have a massive effect on the stock market. Just wait until you get the tax increase you voted for. You will cry when you see what happens to the market.

False. 100 percent wrong

I always say Trump like to take credits when things are good but when things are not so good it is the democratic governors fault.

Not any less retarded to so now that a different guy is president, especially with every index except the Nasdaq at or near all time highs.

My account has been taking a pounding, but that's part of the risk for being almost 100% in growth stocks.

Lol.

It's a fact that gas will be higher under Biden than Trump.

It's also a fact that Biden will be more willing to entrench the U.S. into old conflicts and activate conflict elsewhere.

It's because it's an OTC stock and we're in Canadia. If it was the TSXV/CNV it would have been 1-2 days. I went through this once before, but I don't remember it being this long.

I can't even figure out if what I bought it in at pre-split puts me at a profit. Just got back from a bachelor party and brain is still short-circuiting. Yikes

But in the few days since his inauguration, the new American president has gone to war against coal, oil and natural gas with a decisiveness that has caught everyone by surprise...

Same here (oil). Just don't understand bringing politics in here unless it involves some investment strategy. Everything else sounds like cope.

The only time I remember blaming Trump for the stock market was whenever he tweeted about market being up for whatever reason the market would tank. And I would say I wish that ******* would stop tweeting about the stock market

Noted.

I'll refrain from bringing unrelated politics to this thread.

I was just commenting on an existing discussion, I apologize for going off-thread.

My shares haven't converted on TD yet but you can see the unrealized gains in the cost basis tab. I'm surprised it actually shows.

Let's not forget all the useless and damaging extended lockdowns imposed by democrat governors and supported by Biden.

No one is saying that. But you're going to make a lot less as a result. Don't play dumb. Monetary policy and price of goods affect the stock market. Period. Just own up to the fact that you want this, voted for this, and we will all make less money/lose more money as a result of your poor decisions.
