How do you guys not hate social media/online dating?
I was talking to a girl average at best.. she unmatched me and ghosted me...
ok whatever
but i go on her social media... all selfies.. so arrogant. so narcissistic, prbably thinks she is a 8/10 because of all the tinder matches and simps... makes me annoyed/angry inside...

I've never met a girl that carried the conversation. I always have to ask a leading question. even girls that actually want to go on dates they just say things like haha yeah
and i have to be like asking next question. eventually they open up and you can roast them and they roast back but dude getting to that stage is hell

Then you get closer and start seeing the products on sale and realise they are on sale for a reason.. it's either crap , junk or **** that no one else wants

Online dating is absolutely pointless unless you're in the top 20% of men. I wish this forum gave more good advice on how to pick up women in real life if you don't have a social circle to rely on.

In terms of sex and hookups the only place I felt satisfied with Tinder was rural Philippines. Never saw another white man under 60 years old. I had a monopoly on all the bucketlist, gold digger and BWC chicks. I genuinely don't participate in it except for the misc if you count that. I have messenger and WhatsApp purely for group work and talking to mates.

I've been on and off again since 2013 so I've seen OG Tinder before it became pay to play, OG Bumble, Hinge, etc. Sure you gotta put some money these days, but I've never had to put that much. A boost here and there with some decent time separating them and that is pretty much it.
I will admit, online dating is a bit more brutal to those towards the lower mid-tier/bottom. Around the end of last year I had around 400+ matches on hinge (no e-brag) after the misc being sure that black dudes barely get matches. It is not what it used to be, but it is still relatively easy. You just have to make yourself stand out somehow.

Dating apps at this point as just a mere extension of social media though. Society in general is just more hyper-sexualized. Since it is more socially acceptable to hit on a girl via DM then it is being on a dating app, it can even be worse.
It is a lose-lose either way. Being 31, at this point I know I am going to have to settle on something about the chick no matter how perfect she may seem.
