Invisalign Progress - Last Month!
Some of y'all may find this useful if you're on the fence about Invisalign or is it worth the cost, etc.
I decided last October that since we're all rocking masks that I would finally jump the gun after ruminating about Invisalign since 2018. I wanted to address some compaction of my four front bottom teeth that despite having braces in my teenage years it never fully resolved. I will also note that I didn't wear my retainer like I should have after my braces.
My dentist told me that my treatment would be about five months, but at the current moment I'm on month 6 with two more trays to go so my total treatment will be 7 months. She decided to err on the side of being conservative with my treatment time so I would ensure that I wouldn't have any issues, for example teeth alignment issues.
Total of 14 trays and thereafter I will have to either wear a permanent retainer or wear a retainer overnight.
This is early October 2020 with me applying the first tray.

Currently on tray 13/14 and the results thus far.

I still have the 'buttons' (pieces of polymer) on my teeth to assist with alignment of my teeth and those will be removed in a month. I'm very satisfied with the results personally and would recommend them to anyone on the fence about it. The initial tray was painful but not as bad as getting braces for the first time for me. They aren't that visible TBH and when they get dirty you can use some cleaning crystals to clean them.
I can't speak on competitors like Smile Direct, ClearCorrect, etc but I have heard mixed results from those services.
Hope this helps someone!

my man!
I did the same in August. I'm done 2 weeks from now. Same scenario as you, except wisdom teeth were the reason mine moved.
COVID wasn't all bad! Anything other than invisalign is stupid AF. Its a hassle, but nowhere near as bad as I expected (except first 2 weeks)

Nice! That didn't take long at all to get you sorted. I have a canine tooth that is slightly crooked and a very small gap inbetween my two front teeth. Going by the progress you had I would say it would take less than half the time to fix mine. How much was the total cost? Did dental insurance pay for any of it?

I have almost the exact same sort of crowding with my bottom front teeth too.
This is really awesome, it’s hard to know what results are real and what are faked for marketing purposes so really grateful. Will definitely try this now

Bro these look good
I've been on the fence, my teeth aren't bad but I had braces back when I was a teenager and was used to perfect teeth.
However, over time they've started to shift a bit/crowd. The bottom glued retainer got knocked out when I was sparring a couple years ago, and they're starting now to really shift.
Might go ahead with it, thanks

As far as brushing my teeth given that I am working from home it helped even more to brush my teeth so that was a breeze also.

I've always been complimented on my smile (because no one really sees your bottom teeth lol) so I wanted to invest in them. My GF likes the results also!

I started Jan 4th expecting it to take a year (54 trays changed 1x/week). I was tracking wearing them 22+ hours a day, so after the first two trays my ortho agreed to let me change them every 5 days instead, which should have me finishing around the 9 month mark. It's pretty incredible, and particularly easy to do with since working from home. I will say that as a bulker and eating 7-8x/day it gets kind of old to take them out, eat, brush my teeth, floss, brush them, etc... every 2 hours for 9 months. But it will be worth it.

Nice!
It’s interesting the bifurcation I’ve seen with people that were generally successful pre covid.
A few of my friends have fallen off hard. Heavy drinking, S/O issues, losing focus on career especially with friends in careers like private practice law, etc.
A few others have been crushing it, picked up a new hobby or activity, dialed in their diet and training, made some reasonable lifestyle improvements (like Invisalign).
Congrats on taking advantage of the time to make some impressive aesthetic gains!

nice work. 2020 was definitely the year to do it.
My neighbor did Smile Direct last May-Sept and was happy with the results. It seems really similar to Invisalign but cost him $3k.
I remember doing Invisalign in 2013-14 and it was life changing srs
