I don't get it.....rush to take the vaccine.. Oh chit! .000004% had a "maybe related" reaction, or not....STOP the vaccine!! That was my complaint earlier. I wasn't stoked in the first place, then I ended up begging the pharmacy to let me get it because I am not a woman with clotting issues. Face palming myself...

I feel like there might be more to it than they're reporting or something. A friend of mine got the J&J and he's a big healthy middle aged dude but it put him on the bathroom floor for 4 days with ungodly chitting and puking.

I’m strongly against the vaccine. Less than 1% of dying from COVID. Every time I got a flu shot it makes my life worse and I still get the flu.

I’m passing on it.

My wife and daughters have all gotten it.

We don’t care about the others choices in the matter. They made their best educated decision as have I.

It’s crazy how they are turning this into something for everyone to police their families.

Dude... My wife's aunt and uncle came into town to visit. Literally 75% of the conversation was about either the vaccine or the virus. They are decent folks but their brains have been warped from living in Austin for 25 years and by the media since corona.

It’s made worse by the Biden administration telling people to tell people it ends when we all get vaccinated.

That’s my big **** off. If I got the vaccine I still have to wear a f”ing mask anyways and the party of “my body my choice” should respect that.

There’s no true benefit for me taking it and like I said, flu shots turn out to always be a bad decision for me.

If there has been any benefit from the Wuhan bioweapon strike its that at least some normies finally are beginning to see what the media is and how malleable the public is. People in the home of the free begging for a police state and government papers to participate in society.

Are you talking about a flood plain by the government flood insurance definition? A lot of places that the government classifies as flood plains only flood once every 50 years or so

Yes. I've been doing my due diligence and today I find out that the lot I want to buy is on a flood plain. I'm assuming my engineer is going to tell me there's more requirements and restrictions now so I'm starting to get discouraged.

My mom and uncle both bought lots about 15 years ago down on the coast and built houses on them and they were both classified as in a flood plain and my brother built one down there a couple of years ago but I'm not sure if his is in a flood plain. I don't remember my mom talking about it being much of a hassle and if it was a pain in the ass I guarantee I would have heard about it lol. One thing I do know is that depending on the classification flood insurance can either be a drop in the bucket or overly expensive.

Are the houses near that lot built up on stilts like this?

Doesn't seem worth the risk but it happens all the time. Bunch of building regulations for doing it. The safest way is to stilt the house if thats possible.

lol @ using your mom as reference for pain threshold. It's zone for commercial so it's not a residential lot. (Sorry probably should haven mentioned that earlier) though there are homes behind these lots. The zoning is so weird here. I'm trying to build a commercial building / warehouse / flex space. Looks like below.

Not a house - but this land deed I'm studying does allow me to build up to 3 stories high.
Flood plain definition and classifications and the building codes they drive can vary pretty widely by jurisdiction. 1:25yr, 1:100yr

If you have your builder talk to a reasonably competent engineer he will know the building requirements you need to get insurance and whether or not it fits your budget.
