Your constitutional right to protest does not trump the accused rights to an impartial jury of their peers...You can maintain your right to protest while being dismissed from your duty as a citizen to participate in a jury.

Would you be ok with cops planting evidence on a criminal that they knew was guilty in order to strengthen their case?

That way they know for sure the bad guy will go to jail.

Explain in detail how he was guilty of felony perjury? So far you've literally posted nothing of substance other than to say that this juror was impartial, when he was SPECIFIALLY asked by the defense attorney his thoughts on BLM and he gave his answer. He didn't attend a BLM rally, but a MLK anniversary event. Are you glossing over these facts because you can't read or because you are too stupid to put the words together and lack reading comprehension?

It's gotta be one or the other. If you bring SOLELY this on appeal, you're losing. If you bring this ALONG WITH THE OTHER ISSUES, like the Maxine Waters comment that the judge stated, then you have an argument. A weak one, but an argument

Yes...Yes there is.

Hennepin County has 1,152,425 citizens. Finding a 12 person jury that didnt participate in protest would not be difficult, not difficult at all.

Attending an MLK rally is not the same as a George Floyd protest; the two are unrelated. I don't see this as a reason for appeal. If anything it further cements the verdict.

Using the anniversary as a backdrop to protest another issue is not the same as gathering to honor the anniversary.

The issue isn't that he supports or sympathizes with BLM. He can wear all the shirts he wants, he participate in all the marches he wants. He can hold whatever views he wants. The real issue is that jurors are supposed to unbiased, and they're supposed to disclose any biases before they're selected.

Mitchell said he went to Washington DC commemorating the MLK famous I have a dream speech:

The protest was an MLK protest but it was spawned by George Floyd events and in alignment with these events.The shirt he is wearing is directly from this protest. NAN was responsible from the protest and it WAS a George Floyd protest (not BLM).

Instigated from the protest movement that has risen up since the police killing of George Floyd, the ‘Get Off Our Necks’ Commitment March on Washington will be a day of action that will demonstrate our commitment to fighting for policing and criminal justice.
