Don't put anything off. Something might come up that takes all your attention and you'll be glad you got things all set.

Our time of death ticks closer every day. Our loved ones, friends and family will die around us. Cherish the time you can spend with them and make best use of time and energy when you're not.

We're only here for something like 30,000 days. Most of us are a decent percentage of the way there. Use your remaining time wisely.

I just want to make millions off crypto and achieve financial freedom. These dead end jobs are sucking the life out of me. By the time my shift is done and i have free time i'm too mentally drained to do anything besides slouch around.

What would happen to the world if everyone checked out of working? Everything we take for granted would crumble. Clean water coming to your house? Electricity to power our lives? Food to eat? All of that would stop almost immediately if everyone just indulged in "free time", this stuff doesn't appear out of thin air.


The key is enjoying what you do while being a productive member of society and doing your part to keep the machine moving ahead, wanting to check out is legit just self-absorption IMO

Fuaaaaaarck. Makes me rethink getting my CPA that I'm studying my ass off for. Not really passionate about it (who is lol?)

Doing electronics work anyways atm....I've always been curious about the IBEW since I was like 18. Never did it though. Maybe when I get my DD214 I'll finally do it. I don't know if I can go back to staring at a screen 8 hours a day.

tfw wasted all my teens and 20s playing diablo, wow and not working.
so i didnt socialize, get experience with girls or make money that whole time. Now im 30 and just now starting to focus.. but my prime (physical) is gone.. sucks

Now that I no work 2 jobs I can’t even hit the gym. Then on weekends my girl wants sex sex sex. Then I’ve been enjoying beers and playing warzone. I haven’t lost much muscle but I had worked so hard to at least be in the 1000 club. Doubt I can get 315 on bench today but tbh my body feels better from not torturing myself in the gym. My knee area was killing me but now I feel awesome. I’m about to take andro ph for a month and go for a super ripped look so I can at least sit by the pool and not look like an old fart

Exactly. If I’m “wasting” my time right now that presumes I could be doing something better. What is better? That’s the mentality of most women these days. They could have a top tier Chad and still think they could do better. Life’s not that serious.

Repped. Have thought about those a lot. It’s the reason I’ve walked out on 2 different really high paying jobs. I’ve never chased money and I refuse to hate living just to gain a lot of it. On my death bed I won’t be wishing I’d made more money.

no, "free time" isn't everything. it's actually putting your time to use that is everything

Free time is everything, you obviously use your free time to do what you want , what you wish.

What good is building a house and live in that house, when you don't want that, and would rather spend that time traveling or dancing or making music, or whatever.

Isn't as black and white as you make it to be.

no, i think it is. you're just using your perspective of wants and wishes

what if somebody literally lived their life sitting in the same exact spot for their whole life? that energy was once booming just sat there and fizzled and condensed and slowly rotted away into nothingness

if you want to go biologically they didn't spread their seed or their lineage so they're a waste there as a well. but most people like to throw emotional twists onto their wants and wishes for "waste" and "happiness" - using the aforementioned example somebody could argue the person "wanted" to sit there but from an energy perspective they literally wasted it
