Any poker bro's still out there playing, either live or online? (I know there used to be a quite of us, we even arranged some Misc Cash games on Pokerstars)

I've been getting back into online a bit, used to play as my only source of income back in the day (Pre Black Friday, man those times were insanely good), NL Cash games, but now playing PLO Cash games, a lot more fun! Still money to be made in it as well

If anyone wants to chat game strat, where you play, brags or a place to vent those beats, then this is it!

Old school FTP and Stars grinder. Then the US govt ****ed me. Online poker did pay my way through college though. The rakeback was enough to earn me good money. Used to play 16 tables 1/2 NLH. Anything above breakeven was gravy.

I’ve taken a few stabs since then but the games are harder and I can’t control myself in the attached casinos or sports books. Went on tilt last time and started doing $75 per hand video poker. Obviously my 1k roll didn’t last long.

Never lived in a state that it was legal. Just play a bunch of janky, ad-ridden freeroll stuff outside of casinos. Went to a nat'l championship in freeroll league in vegas. Was fun, would love to play more.

I have an old Intertops account that I play on every now and again but don't put fresh money on it. Now I see ads for real money online poker ran by local-ish casinos that I haven't been bothered to try. Feel like they're going to report your winnings to the IRS so I haven't really cared too much to get into.

^Is Intertops the company that bought the old Cake poker software? man that brings back memories, I was a reg at Cake poker, easily the best and softest site I've ever played on, loved that! haha. Not sure about IRS and what they would/do report, if anything....

I've got some places that you Ameribro's can play on, send me a PM if interested, I can help you get set up and get you some better deals than the standard ones you'll find, some options are the Winning Poker Network (America's Cardroom and Black Chip Poker skins), the traffic is ok there, depending on what games and stakes you play though. I can also get you set up on GGPoker, which is the best site atm imo, great software, lots of traffic with big player pools.

Used to be a +50% ROI player in the low-mid stakes MTT scene in the late 2009's on PS.

I would MASS-table MTTs and pull out multiple wins. 18 tables at once, and play them down.

Was fun.

I understand AI beats humans HANDILY for Texas hold em in 2021, tho?

Yeah Bovada is legit, same with Ignition and Bodog for Americans, glad to hear you've had no troubles!

18 MTTs at once, damn son, I'd only play like 9 tables max for 6m cash games, any more and I started making too many mistakes haha, now I just play 4-6 for PLO.

I think NLHE has been "solved" in a sense, I haven't kept up that much with that side of things as I don't play nlhe any more though. PLO is much harder to have "solved" for AI.

PLO seems like the variance can be WAY worse.

The gray area between win & lose is much, much larger.

Play strictly cash so can't speak on the tourneys on Bovada. But there is still money to be made in the cash games and I assume the same can be said about Tourneys.

Play 500nl/1knl on Bovada and then add another 2-4 tables of global 200nl/500nl (high stakes hardly runs on Global nowadays).

Variance is insane with PLO haha, but I find the game a lot more fun.

Nice one bro, is there still a lot of nl action these days? I know PLO has boomed, player pool wise, haven't played nl in years.

If any bros still playing are interested in joining a newly created Discord, a place to learn, study (Both NL and PLO), have some lulz and make money, send me a pm and I'll send you the link for it, we've got a tonne of awesome material to utilise.

What are the top sites for bonuses right now? I was a grinder years ago but gave it up, mostly bonus whoring on multiple sites. Any way to get a decent roll doing that anymore?
