Staffing issues drive me insane. Especially when it comes to lack of CNA's

CNA's get paid like $10-12 an hour and they literally send them home if the Census slightly drops leaving the Nurses to fend for themselves. Its insane how PROFIT DRIVEN hospitals are

There is no way you can remain a compassionate person and be a nurse for more than several years. I would suspect most of us are severely fcked up, and female nurses have a terrible reputation for a reason. There are a few young cancer nurses that still seem kind of chipper and wholesome but I imagine behind the facade they're nuts as well, those types usually are once you get past their exterior. They're usually around 1-2 years into their career still as well.

Don't take the nurse pill that some people try to shill srs. There are easy jobs within it where you aren't cleaning up chit, but if you're working bedside at a hospital, no thanks jeff. And you almost always have to start there.
How DO you achieve bonrars having seen the ugly side of human body?

Bonus question: ever seen a legit hbb do something nasty that killed your bonrar?

No one knows what they're doing srs. I suspect this is the case for almost everyone everywhere. I think most of us are pretending beyond New Guinea brahs still throwing spears at boars. It's the ultimate blackpill. After dealing with high-powered directors throwing literal tantrums, crying in my office while I was supervisor, having mental breakdowns, some of the completely inscrutable decisions passed on, seeing how useless the executives were against division who could in turn blame chit on overall HQ. It's not like this is unique to the medical field, I think humans might just be fcking complete imbeciles. The CEO was the only person who at least was able to project an air of confidence within the building she was the ultimate boss of, but I don't know if she actually did anything outside of meetings and being seen, and all of her emails were written by support staff. Out of the four hospitals I've worked, this is not anything unique.

I do know I will avoid hospitals at all costs unless my life depends on it and recommend everyone does the same. Not telling people to avoid doctors or routine medical care, but do not be a patient in a hospital unless it is critical.

Because I have testosterone.

This one girl in college's room was a mess and her panties were in the middle of the floor with an obvious **** stain. That was before I became a nurse and back at the time I did not even want to touch patients in nursing school because most of them are gross. You get desensitized. Probably still would have fcked her if she came on to me but it completely stopped me from putting any moves on her. Four years later I'm dealing with cancer patients on chemo chitting out their entire mucoid lining of their stomach.

It's sad though, people shouldn't mock nurses for it---these people are incredibly sick and you can't let a person incapable of helping themselves lay in their own filth. The process of a person dying or being ill in general is a very depressing and humiliating process, not something anyone wants to go through. Most people do not understand the big difference between being sick and healthy until they're sick, and most of the time it's just an annoyance that fades and you forgot about it. There are few things any sane autonomous individual wants to do less than **** themselves and have someone else clean it up, and no one is excited to deal with foul body fluids.

I hope you brahs who use this as a way to mock murses never end up helpless as a baby with someone having to clean you up and do every single thing for you. I do hate the fat disgusting fcks who aren't truly sick beyond their self-induced issues. While I would probably be fcked if I was doxxed and it was linked to me saying this, I hate these people more than anything srs.

Body fluids are not even the worst part of the job since it's something you become use to, it's that patients have become so unbelievably annoying and hospitals used covid as a way to get their nurses used to being treated like chit. As degrading as it is, I will wipe obese peoples' ass for 100k and listen to the scum of the earth whine about their fake pain for opiates, but not when everything else about being an RN is trash. Healthcare workers are leaving the bedside in droves. Wouldn't recommend the job to anyone unless you're doing some cush PACU role or something. You definitely don't want to be dealing with multiple patients for extended periods of time.

What is the point of this lie? You don't even see LPNs nowadays in acute care hospitals. This is obviously from some random city emergency department, some old lady probably came in from a nursing home after being constipated for two months and died squeezing out this monster wider than her entire rectal canal. No one you see in that photo is an LPN. CNA or RN with some cheeky EMTs in the back, but hot young girls are almost never CNAs.
I’ve dated a couple RN’s. The stories they’d tell me... humans are disgusting.

Glad I have a desk job where the hardest part of my day is figuring out what I want for lunch.

What do you brahs think happens in hospitals? Seriously. I have a lot of stories but I'm not going to flaunt people's deaths and sickness for more attention. If you want to hear more about ordeals, I've also been attacked by psychopathic patients included being bitten, threatened by gangbangers, and had to carry corpses of dead babies from refrigerator to morgue wrapped up in little blankets.

The hospital's a place where the most sick and injured population goes and the final place where many people die. People get shot, stabbed, dragged by cars, burned, etc. They die of cancer or surgical complications or infections. A lot of sicknesses make you weak, **** yourself, nauseated and make you vomit, etc. I find the whole constantly lauding nurses as heroes thing pretty annoying and the job can be fairly easy, but it's not all making tiktoks and wiping old peoples' asses.

You are around sick people and dealing with every situation that arises as a consequence of it. I think the public has the idea that doctors are doing a lot more of the personal stuff than they actually are. They're mostly behind computers; sometimes they will lay eyes on a patient near death, otherwise they see them once during a brief daily round. Even when they are "pronouncing death" it is almost always nurses doing it and telling the doctor the time. Almost every task is carried out by ancillary staff, and nurses are assigned to sick people to do nearly every physical task necessary for their health until they die or leave the hospital. Hell, even after they die, we remove everything and help put them in the body bags to go down to the morgue.

Can confirm, dated an RN for 2 years, roomied with one for 2 years.

Nurses and CMA/CNA's are there for the bedside manor treatment and administering meds and such. Providers are usually sleeping, behind a computer, or reading charts and typing chit in.

Our hospital has soo much turnover on floor nurses. Being a ICU or PCU nurse seems like a good job, but floor nurses have to deal with soooo much fukin **** constantly.

They just try to become half ass Nurse Practitioners as quickly as possible.
