Got a pretty sweet extension, I think it's called Unhook or Distraction Free Youtube but there are similar ones. It blocks all recommended videos on YT including the front page stuff. Combined with an ad blocker it is pretty nice.

One big thing about online media that people don't think about is rage clicks. Some content is intentionally designed to mess with your head and make you upset so that you click on it. It's the same sick mentality behind "hate watching" just applied to the internet.

Blocking ads and recommended stuff is nice because the pages load faster and you don't get sucked into that time-wasting loop. Would recommend.

My front page is 90% **** i like to watch.

If you're not like+subscribing to content you enjoy, you're not telling Youtube's Algorithm what you like, so it shows you whats popular amongst the masses.

There's also an option for videos on the front page that you can click that says "not interested". It tells the Algorithm you don't like that type of chit.

What you watch effects the Algorithm even if you don't like/subscribe, but not nearly as much. If you "Hate watch" videos like in the OP, youtube is gonna think you like seeing that chit.

Use the tools youtube gives you, and your front page will start being full of chit you enjoy.

It's not some conspiracy to make you watch lefty chit. Lefty chit is just what gets clicks right now(from lefties, and righties who hate watch) so if you don't' use youtube correctly, you're gonna get a lot of that.

I just scrolled down 20 rows of videos, not 1 single leftist or CNN type of news story or video, except a John Oliver video, because I like watching his show sometimes.

Basically, L2Youtube.

Never visit front page crew.

Willing to bet Youtube is triggered by people like me and will find ways to sneak in these *******s as if I'm going to watch any of this crap. I had to turn off auto play because they try to play news channels after certain videos. Even had them fit an entire 1 hour tv show as an "Ad" into a video I was watching (Don't have ad block on my tv when I use youtube).

I'm not claiming to be some expert in SES, it just stands to reason that the point of logging into a search engine is so they can then identify you.

Of course it matters if I sign in or not because once I sign in Youtube goes "Oh **** it's MBison, we know exactly what kind of content that guy likes", and then they send me recommendations based on my search history.

Are they doing the same thing on a computer that's not logged in? Yes, of course, but they still don't know who exactly is using the computer, so recommendations would be a bit more generic in comparison.

Is there more happening than what I posted, sure, but claiming that signing in doesn't matter is patently retarded.

its just purely pathetic when somebody with 27k posts doesn't understand the reach bigtek has... its almost foolish of me even entertaining your normie argument. Thousands of identifiers to know exactly who is using any piece of tech at any given point... Not elaborating, if you need more of an explanation, consider yourself left in the past and unwise.

You're retarded.

The Library has a computer that allows you to use for 15 minutes, people generally use it for say printing something out.

How are they gonna track something that's available for public use you ****ing dolt?

Hurr durr you have less than 27K posts and can't answer that, but keep going on like you know everything dummy.

How about you answer that question without getting into dystopic delusions and/or referencing technology that won't be mainstream any time soon?

The ****ing public computer at the library isn't taking fingerprints or retina scans you dumb ****.

I've literally never seen this video on my youtube feed, home page, or suggested bar while I watch another video.

Instead of "not interested" maybe click "don't recommend this channel". ?

Or mabye you don't like/subscribe to enough people for the algorithm to find more chit you like? I donno.

All I know is, I don't have any ****gy chit on my youtube page or suggestions, no matter how far I scroll down, except the ****gy chit my 4yr old watches sometimes.

Get in the habit of hitting like to any video you enjoy, or subscribe to any content you watch regularly, and pop in a "not interested" any time ****gy chit shows up on your homepage.

It might take a few weeks depending on how often you use Youtube, but it absolutely works.

Side know. When a left wing video has more dislikes than likes, everyone laughs.

But the truth is, all that is showing you is that the primary people clicking on those leftwing videos are right wing people, hate watching. Hate watching is cancer and propagates left wing garbage harder than leftwing people propagate it themselves.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with anything in his post, but full on paragraphs on internet forums are awful to read. It's way better forum etiquette to space out **** like that =p

Paragraphs just end up being walls of text that no one reads.

I do all that. Sometimes random things like the "what pretending to be crazy looks like" gets pushed through everyone's feeds for whatever reason. Don't know what to tell you. Maybe it's a difference in mobile vs desktop versions in how Youtube displays content or something

My feed is 99% music, podcasts, and history channels. There is no reason for that kind of stuff to be recommended based on my viewing. I've been on youtube since before the google buy out so my viewing should be pretty well curated. But occasionally weird videos still get pushed though
