no he was the owner creator of mccaffee antivirus that was big in the 90s and early 2000s, he had legitimately made wealth, millions and millions. IDK If he was crazy back then or just went bonkers afterwards in some kind of midlife crisis thing but went down to belize and created his own little empire there. lived on an island doing drugs and banging whores. i think even making drugs too. paid off the local PD to leave him alone. Had paid some 19 year old to be his girlfriend when he was in his 60s. Made crazy off the wall tweets or interviews. read about him in rolling stone some time. Talked a lot of chit about the US gov. Then belize gov and US gov were on top him, had money and tax evasion, fraud ect problems.

He could have just stayed in the US and chill and never work again, he had tons of money that was made legit. he wanted to live a wild life and be something of a cross between dan blitzerian and tony montana.
