^^LOL.

I was going for a bike ride around the new city I recently moved to, noticed a Krav Maga centre along the way. I haven't trained martial arts in years (formerly Muay Thai and BJJ), missed the discipline and fitness of training so popped in for a trial session.

Very practical and effective stuff, IMO, and ingrains into ones muscle memory pretty easily. Though I harbour my reservations about knife defences.

Speaking of BJJ, I just ran into Derrick Lewis on my way home from picking up a Chicago style deep dish pizza. He gave me a N-word pass.

Why are all the old election threads being bumped from the past 3-4 elections?

Also Cracker Barrel threads make The DS super hungry!!!!

One of our surviving alts was bumping them. Threads all seem to be gone now.

I used a suppository for the first time. It was rather annoying. So I thought I would get on the RP for some advice.

So...A-Game, how do you get your anus repeatedly violated without much care? What's your secret breh?

I'm not help. I've never cheeked anything, actually. And I'm not familiar with the reasons why you need to put in your ass as opposed to your mouth either. Or was that just your preference bro?

You're saying that, even in this thread, somebody who has never posted in Misc before will ever be allowed to post in this Forum now? Somebody who has never posted before (or, even more so, somebody who's new to this entire group) could tell us something in here that can actually affect somebody's life in a good way.

I protest.

I recently watched a documentary about the 9/11 attacks. It's still crazy to think about what happened on that terrible day. Rest in peace to all the victims of those disgusting acts of terrorism. I have a good memory so I remember that I once made a joke about 9/11 on this site many, many years ago. Even though it was just a silly joke and I didn't mean to demean the pain and suffering that was caused by the attacks, it was still unneccesary and possibly hurtful.

You should be ashamed of yourself. This is truly disgusting. Jokes aren't funny if you're offending people. I am not a nasty person, but this kind of behavior enrages me and I truly hope somebody goes to your funeral and tells a knock-knock joke. And I hope it's not funny.

I'm well! Went from 2 to 3 with baby boy who is now 4 months old. Currently yelling at his toys under the jungle gym.

Football (soccer) FTW. I've tried and watched all other sports, and nothing comes close, except for surfing.

Anyone see Schick's halfway goal in the Euros? I can't think of another sport where you could pull something incredible like that.

Sure is fun having to work (no AC) in this. I'm sure southern brahs are laughing right now but we rarely go above high 20's here.

Lol. We absolutely feel for you. Right now there's also a shortage of parts for central air conditioning units, so if something goes wrong enough, you can find yourself waiting two weeks to get a/c again. I would not hesitate to go stay at a hotel if that were to happen to me.

I feel that! I live in a tropical biome which has literally no winter. All days are blaring sun with 30+ Celsius temperatures and legally mandated air conditioning in any rented property.

My air con breaking down is a perpetual fear of mine.

Happy Fourth R&Pers!

A little off topic but I suppose this is what this thread is for. The wife and I decided to take the family to Disney and Universal next week, is the Rise of the Resistance ride worth the headache to get on it? We haven't been to Disney since the new Star Wars rides opened. You have to book which park you're going to ahead of time each morning and then can hop to the other parks after 2:00 pm. So right now I have us going to Universal Studios every morning for the 3 mornings we'll be there just to get both shots each day at getting on the ride.

Happy Independence Day everyone!

Pat, see if they have this Fast Pass app still going. It's been a while since we went, but it saves a lot of time. There's also a cool Disney app that shows a map of everything and estimated wait times. One last thing is if they have extended hours during your trip, that could be a good time to go hit a bunch of rides. Everyone else will be tired and eating dinner. Have a good trip!

We had over 1,000 heat-related deaths in my province alone.

I have an AC but it broke down and everytime I tried to repair it, I'd get frustrated and stop before I destroyed something. Thankfully, my wife repaired it while I was at work and I came home to a cool 67F room. Anger really is my weak point but it's gradually improving.

It was abnormal for us and the first few nights while my AC wasn't working, my home averaged 32C at night. In some places it peaked around 46C (my city hit 44C before finally returning to mid-20s.) So glad it's over and I can sleep again.

Happy 4th.

I recommend signing a maintenance agreement with an ac company. For $129/yr they come out in March to check the ac and October to check the furnace. They do other stuff but I don't really know what.

I'm really glad they came out this March because we replaced some things on the ac before summer that would have probably broken. The bolts and nuts were stripped.

I can see that you're joking, but I'm only talking about myself and what I feel. I think it was a silly joke related to Osama bin Laden, so the apology goes out to the victims of his other terrorist attacks as well.
