All my life I've been a "real food" in the morning type of guy. I'd prefer a chicken thigh, rice and veggies for breakfast over cereal, eggs, toast, and/or other traditional breakfast foods. Do you think this type of eating could potentially open me up for health issues down the road? Any other brahs eat the same way?

I love eggs for breakfast but now and then I do have leftovers instead. Sometimes it just sounds better and it has to be better than cereal at any rate.

Why the phuck would it? Came in expecting eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. Eating the "traditional" breakfast foods regularly would be much more likely to phuck you up than the things you mentioned.

It's sounds just the opposite to me OP. Chicken thigh, rice and veggies should be much healthier long term than cereal. Nothing wrong with eggs though.

The logic behind "traditional" foods is that you ate a lot of calories in the morning to give you energy for the day but nowadays most people eat it and sit at a desk all day

Food is food. Do you think cavemen ate cereal in the morning? It doesn't matter as long as you eat healthy.

Some foods are "breakfast food" that are meant to give you an "energy boost" to power through your mornings but all that's just a bunch of bull****.

It's not the calories, I was just thinking about metabolic stress. I rarely eat bacon and sausage. But I guess you're right. And don't swear at me *******.

I spent two weeks in Japan just prior to the pandemic, and noticed how most Japanese people seemed to eat lunch/dinner food for breakfast as well. I mean in the sense that there isn't a clear demarcation between "breakfast food" and "dinner food". At least not that I noticed.

And they seem to age pretty healthy

Cereal is awful for you.

Eggs are awesome for you. One of the best foods out there.

Toast is bad for you. Most grains are actually.

The food pyramid aka what the Government tells you to eat is full of chit.

A person should be eating high-fat, high-protein, low-carb, high-vegetable diet.

Yet the Food Pyramid says the majority of our food should be from grains. WRONG!!! It's completely backwards.

Grains are full of Gluten and Carbs causing food allergies and high blood sugar which leads to diabetes and other cancers.

People should be eating nuts and seafood and non-starchy vegetables.

Corn is terrible for you. It's a high-gycemic index food. Full of sugar.

Look at every box of food and you'll see - High Fructose Corn Syrup and Hydrogenated Oil. Highly Processed Corn Products.

It's pure poison.
'
Modern Fruits are also heavily modified. Most fruits are full of added sugar. Fruits are not what our Ancestors used to eat. Treat fruits as candy. Just full of sugar.

In general, rice is fine. It's actually got a lot of helathy properties to it. The only problem is it's full of carbs.

I usually eat Korean meat that's full of beef, pork and I eat a lot of Salmon, rice. Anything green like Broccoli, Green Beans etc...

I eat a ton Eggs in the morning. The Yolks of Eggs are full of Cholesterol, B- Vitamins etc. It's the most nutritious part of an egg.
