Many supposed credible pilots have been on record making surprisingly basic mistakes analyzing the videos in question, from mistakes regarding what’s on the screen in these videos to underlying physics involved. Actually my main takeaway from all the navy UFO nonsense recently (videos almost certainly showing mundane objects such as planes, balloons, or drones) is that there are quite a few pilots who are 1)quite egoistical while 2)demonstrating some pretty basic misunderstandings, who 3) get quite imaginative with stories, and 4)seem to enjoy the limelight. Seems to oddly be something about the Navy as well....as you don’t see or hear much coming out of other branches such as the Air Force.

The videos are the supposed evidence that I find worth analyzing and considering (as-is).....and in my opinion are not showing much as the objects are consistent with ordinary things. The extra fluff...personal recollections that are outside the videos, stories about what people thought they saw etc, I do not find that interesting, for a number of reasons.

We have them on the North Pole
We have reports of them in Russia

When I say it's mostly coming out of the Navy, Im referring to what you are seeing in the media- the interviews and videos. It's rather odd that it's specifically this branch, maybe the USAF figures it's already had its time in the sun with Project Blue Book* decades ago.

Anyway, tons of people out there think they have seen something that is unexplainable, none of this is surprising.....nor is it a good form of evidence. Note this doesnt change depending on who the person saying it is- "I think I saw X" is one of the lowest forms of evidence scientifically speaking (the highest form of evidence being something along the lines of careful, reproducible experiments/observations with clear results). Consider also that there are UFO/paranormal/unexplained enthusiasts among fighter pilots just as there are among other groups of people such as warehouse workers or physicians. And finally, it goes without saying, humans- yes even pilots- can be notoriously poor observers (particularly when they are preoccupied with other things such as flying an aircraft).

You see interviews and videos online of fighter pilots coming out with 1)personal stories (not good evidence) and 2)giving their analysis of the viral UFO videos. This second point I find to be particularly amusing. People love to latch onto it because there is a tendency to appeal to authority (fallacy) rather than just observe what's in front of them (the videos) and analyze them critically. It is especially ridiculous since there are many instances on record of pilots making somewhat basic mistakes in their analyses, and furthermore, they arent exactly the proper authority to appeal to in terms of the issue in question (image analysis)- so it's like a double fallacy. Pilots are trained at flying aircraft, drivers in a sense- this does not make them an expert in video analysis. It also does not make them experts on the some of the technologies (cameras) used in taking this videos, or of physics involved. Just as a baseball player does not need to be an expert on the physics/dynamics of baseball flight to do what he does: hit baseballs well.

I see no good evidence for ET or even ultra advanced human tech in any of this. What I see in the evidence at hand (the videos) is likely just ordinary objects like planes.

Seems very likely to me as well. Things havent changed in 50 years.
