I always keep an eye out on SPY and place a 30 or 60 day put when i feel like we've been running up too long. Took a put position last week thursday, and it's keeping my head above the red sea today.

Held out on XOM calls today and it was the right move. Still think it might dip lower before going in. SPY dip still hasnt happened. So much S&P chit is up 10-50% in the past month with no reason to justify it. Need to see a 3-10% pullback at least.
