Still great buy and holds as more and more states approve cannabis laws, but that's really sort of a boomer way of investing. Most people ITT are doing swing trades, momentum trades, or downright daytrading.

Most of the momentum and swing potential of cannabis stocks were back when the elections were going on and people were getting in position to ride the wave of a democratic party that would lead to more lenient cannabis laws. That is to say, people have already taken profits and now looking into the next promising sectors to ride.

Forecasting hitting pre-pandemic demand by Q1 2022 and supply will be nowhere near pre-pandemic levels. Labour market here has been highly disrupted since 2014 and even moreso since COVID, I sense some good times coming in the oil patch for those of us that are still around.

Getting flashbacks to when I used to be a fkin perma-bear back in early Jan 2018.

Gettin anal'd every day and then flipped sides at the very end and bought AAPL calls before XIV exploded in Feburary.

Thankful for getting out of that mindset.

As someone on the ground regarding recreational cannabis, it’s laughable to think anyone will let some Canadian soy boys penetrate the US market meaningfully and exist for a decade plus.

Just wait when they find out the US won’t legalize federally and will leave it a state issue.

People already running ops to expose companies run by ex-law enforcement, white trust fund kids, etc.

We haven’t held the game for over 5 decades to loosen the grip now. It’s kartel $$ flowing into state legislatures to legalize.

Companies like Reef, Cookies, Jungle Boyz, etc. will control the market with some medium sized local players. Fuk, I’m wearing a Jungle Boyz hat right now that I wore to the gym this morning, srs.

Think I might move my entire portfolio into a cash position. My wife and I aren't getting the vaccine, and soon might be stuck with a choice to either get it, or lose careers. In this case, we still aren't getting it and If I need to tap into my investments to sustain for a few years, I don't want it to be at a time when the market crashes, which seems almost guaranteed to happen within the next year. Its been a good run, and maybe once the threat of "Get the vax or have your life ruined" is over, i'll dump it all back into index funds, 10k a month until its all back in.

IDK, starting to get a little nervous about this country's future, and more importantly, my own.
