Recommend inventing recipes and attempting to cook them if you like food. Don’t follow some meal kit or recipe guide. But make everything from scratch and play around with different ingredient combinations. You’ll learn new skills and also eat well. Shopping for the ingredients and prepping them is half the fun
The 9-5 lacks agency, and the routine can seem restrictive. Trying the above will at least inject some novelty and creativity to inspire new goals and positivity. I suppose the first thing you could play around with is making pizza from scratch. Dough and tomato sauce all by hand, except for whatever toppings

A pesto sauce might work well with the salmon too. Ideally you want something light since salmon is a fatty fish. You could look at different Mediterranean recipes for ideas since the sauce part might be more technical than experimenting with your own skillsSemi mirin

Also depends on the type of pasta you go for. Linguini is actually a classic pairing with seafood. Amazing with a white wine clam sauce, which would elevate the flavor of fish added in

A man in Africa whose name is a sequence of clicking sounds, with 16 children and works all day in smoldering heat with a cone on his dink to provide for his family can easily be happier and more fulfilled than anyone here.

Used to feel like this when I worked in the corporate world. Quitting and working for myself is way better and I have time to plan and do “different” stuff. Gotta continuously shake it up a bit! It’s your life...you’re in the driver’s seat!

The issue is that everyone else over 30 just talks about the same things
Netflix, their kids, weddings, restaurants
Years ago all of my friends used to talk about working out, playing sports, going to concerts, playing Xbox live and we had debates. Now it's nothing like that

A lot of cope itt
Bottom line is existence is completely fukking pointless. If you have an IQ above room temperature, you realise rock climbing or jet skiing or whatever is just as fukking pointless as rotting or whatever.
This is why past generations had religion, giving a sense of purpose to existence. We are living in the hellscape Nietzche predicted.

Jesus. I am the opposite of this thread.
I do so much, and am into so much stuff I'd need a hundred lifetimes to do everything I want to do.
One adventure after the next. The fun part of my life is challenging myself and planning/anticipating what is next.
