Took swelfie tonight.
That is all. In before all the bs....

[edit]....I decided to post lifetime natty pics too from about 7 years back since I know the inevitable comments will follow.
No longer nattie. 7 years ago discovered I really did have low t which was the result of a frontal brain injury and pituitary damage. Also was hypo thyroid as a result.
Also put back pic of me as lifetime natty vs pic from last year as comparison. (and 7 more years training in between)
Yes....I believe I have gained mass and held it that I might otherwise not be able to hold at lower bf levels, but it did not build my physique.....Also a pic of me at 21 after 3 years of lifting and my 'before' pic. Yes nattie.
Hate I even have to put that...but fuk it. This is my pic from tonight....closing in on 50. Anyway....just doing the best I can to stay in shape these days. 3 years ago got in car accident, fractured spine and 3 disk injuries. Just doing the best I can....still trying to get back healthy enough to squat again....

Excellent results. Maintaining a physique like that for decades on end is a rare find. Good on you for pushing through with it despite numerous injuries.

A few injuries later, I am just enjoying life to the best, and realized my best days (as far as overall strength) may be best left in the past. Really wanting to pull 600 again, but have not been able to deadlift for 3 years and only recently brought back some very careful squatting

Hair still there, but typical thinning of an italian guy my age. I have a brother 5 years older and I am following the same path he took. Both grandfathers totally bald...so it is what it is. Still have hair, but definitely thinning as I hit 50. Had a MF crop as kid
...but such is life. Dont have many pics of myself...and almost none without a hat. This was last summer.

Abs dont mean sh!t and every twink can have them. Now having good muscle mass AND abs....that is what impresses me. POW's have abs. Abs on guys 150-170 lbs does not really impress me. Sorry... I have been around long enough to know any skinny dude can have abs.
But abs were never my goal. I always lifted to be strong(er). I now have a midsection that looks like a block. I'm ok with that. I never lifted to be pretty.

Funny thing.... I am WAY more proud of my accomplishments in the gym vs my relative 'success' in life. Lots of my friends have nice cars. NONE of my friends look like me at any age and none can do what I do.

Das it meng.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.
