Worst Crime You Still Wouldn’t Turn a Family Member in For?
Lets say a close fam member, ie. brother/sister/parents/kids, took you in private and confessed they committed a horrible crime. They dont want to go to jail but just needed to tell someone.
Whats the least serious crime you would call po-po on them for?
Whats the most serious chit you’d help them get away with?

I think anything that was reasonably victimless would probably not merit outside attention. Burglary, GTA, chit like that (assuming they didn't like a pistol whip an old lady for a 92 Buick or something)-- same deal.
For were something like murder, I'd have to assess the circumstances: if it was a barfight that got out of hand, probably not. If they chopped a dude up and buried him in the woods over something that wasn't a clear and present threat to their life, probably would have to involve the police because that's some danger to society type chit.
Anything with kids though, sorry brah, that's a wig split.
If it did come down to it, I'd encourage the person to turn themselves in and/or begin to make changes in their life to prevent it from happening again, regardless of whether or not I would call the cops on my own volition.

I mean, clearly this wouldn't be a feel good moment in my life. But especially if they come to you with it or you find out some other way, i.e. it's not just an accusation-- you know for sure. Yeah man, you gotta act I think.

If it was the second time, yeah okay, maybe they've chosen their path.Yea I think the line would be whether there are victims. Abuse and violence etc against people I think I would report. Financial crimes taxes drugs etc I would not.

I'm not calling the cops for anything. I wouldn't even give two chits if my own brother was a serial killer.

Too many people are ignoring the point of this exercise. The question isn't, what crime are your actual family members likely to commit and would you snitch on them for it? The question is, what crime would they have to commit for you to snitch on them.
That's an important difference. It's a hypothetical. Stop ruining the thought experiment with your moral families.

I can’t think of any serious crimes that I wouldn’t turn them in for. Just because they’re family doesn’t mean I need to cover for them. It’s a good thing my family isn’t full of chit bags and I don’t see myself ever being in this situation.
Just LOL @ people saying chit like GTA. If your car was the one that was stolen I’m sure the thought process would be completely different when it comes to someone else covering that crime up. Those crimes are not “victimless”…

Mainly cause I don’t consider streaming stuff illegally a crime, even though I don’t do it.
