I have however found the most judgmental guys are the people with less not more. The corvette owners, who think corvettes are the pinnacle, or the mustang guys who think the same...dont even start with the mopar guys.... But I have also met some really cool people from all walks of life. That is what it is all about.

No offence, but that is idiotic. Check out Rob Ferritti (sp) on youtube. Gotham Dream cars. You are losing money renting most exotics on turo.

If you have enough money to buy an exotic, you are not going to try to nickel dime it renting it out. The PJ dude has made a lot of money 'teaching' people how to buy exotics. If you have to turn your job into something just to try to afford one....dont buy one.

You can own that and drive it for less than it would cost you to finance a civic. (less the cost of the money to buy the car). I did that for a while and either drove cars for free or made money when I sold them. I did not need someone to tell me how to do it, it is pretty simple. Just need the cash to buy the car....

What investment vehicles do you use to save cash for these "big purchases" so you can gain interest while it builds up pre-purchase? Trying to save for retirement but also for toys and not quite sure how to do it without paying big fees to withdraw it but also dont want to let it rot away in a basic bank account.

I do the same, you buy a 911 drive it for a year and sell it with a small loss or profit. Or you can lease a civic for 2 years, just 1 year costing more to lease than having owned the 911 for 1 year.

If you can handle the risk and don't live in a poor area (people scratching or keying your car), then own and sell high end cars every year

First exotic I would get is a R8 or 911 I echo that advice
