I would say the difference in ALA and berberine IMO is you can make your carbs come from cookies and bread and chocolate chips as long as the amount of carbs is the same as if you would have gotten it from rice and potatos. I prefer not to eat rice and potatos as my only carb sources after years of doing so but still look the same and ALA and Berberine helped with that.
Supposedly ALA can also offset some of the negative effects of poor sleep on insulin sensitivity and because I have sleep apnea and no matter how hard I try my sleep raises my cortisol/BG level

broccoli seeds/sprouts or supplements. It is truly the goat supplement as they contain sulforaphane. Helps with skin, hair, belly fat, brain, and basically improves everything.

Animal flex. Obviously quite a big "single" supplement, but my joints and TENDONS feel so much better after switching from Orange Triad. I'm a tradie that works in a shop rebuilding differentials and transmissions. We don't do light weight at times lol. Flex has helped out the tradie aches and pains for sure.
Maca
Vit D
Saw palmetto
^For the sloots.
Animal Pak (once a day) for a kitchen sink supplement.
Also I thought ZMA was placebo? Or was that just for test results?

what it does it metabolizes blood sugar or glucose, which is of course what carbohydrates are converted to when you consume them. It is also elevated at times of stress.
So post workout you want to replenish glycogen which can be done multiple ways. The most common way is people just eating a bunch of carbs.
I find the most effecient way to get the most blood glucose converted to stored muscle glycogen is through the use of endogenous insulin, ALA, and berberine. But I also know my body and know exactly how much to use and how much carbohydrates to consume through TONS of experience knowing how much I need to recover optimally and how my blood glucose levels vary throughout the day.
Possible benefits from that can include:
lower body fat accrual
increased muscle protein synthesis
optimized stable blood sugar levels throughout the day
increased window of recovery time aka growth time
lower pancreatic stress(very common to have pancreatic stress in bodybuilders pushing carbohydrates and fluctuating blood sugar levels)
I wouldnt advice anyone using it though without being quite advanced in knowing your body and supplements, its probably one of the more complicated of all "supplements" along with DNP which honestly isnt that complicated but because it has a 36 hour half life people go full retard and dont understand titration

I'm an alcoholic and it effects me. I use to get shakes pretty bad, someone here recommended I try NAC. So I did and in less than a week, it really helped. Supposedly big pharma got Amazon to pull it off their site and they did, but you can still buy in from Walmart and other places, just not Amazon for now.
