Need J&J shot by Aug 31 or I can't go to school

All state and city colleges in this great state, New York, require students to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to step foot on campus. Their deadline is September 14 so according to their calendar they sent me, I've already missed the chance to get the Pfizer or moderna shot in time, however I can still get the johnson and johnson one as late as August 31, as they define being fully vaccinated as two weeks after your final shot.

I wouldn't have gotten this chit at all since I'm 33 and in great shape and perfect health, however I feel like my hands are tied since this is a program I've taken night classes for the past 5 years in order to finish all the prerequisites.

Is it possible to choose which vaccine you get when you show up at these sites, or are they still just giving you whatever they have on hand?

Reps for any actual helpful advice. I hate that I have to bend over for the fukking man just so I can continue my education.

I was in the same situation for a job, Drug Mart had the J&J but I believe the guy said it was the last day they were doing it when I did it.

At this point, I'd consider religious exemption. I got J&J 1 week before they announced that EVERYONE would need to mask regardless of the vax. If you decide not to it's pretty easy to get the shot same day.

Obviously, it's all fear mongering and big pharma bullchit, but I got it for a greater purpose: so I can actually be entrenched with college liberals and talk to them about their problematic stances about this pandemic. Other wise you have to live like a damn hermit or being marked with the mask on campus. But now we all have to mask up and it matters less.

After 12 hours I had a very mild grade fever. Barely hotter than normal but then I got fatigued and slightly achy. Napped for 4 hours and felt better. Then slept for 6 hours and was fine.

I'm probably doomed to this vax chit regardless, been pre-med since well before the pandemic. I've invested 3 years into this and about to get my bachelors. I could throw it all away and be nomadic but I intend to speak truth to power if I become a doctor. Always meant to regardless, but I'll just have to deal with more propaganda and cancel culture now.

Go here:www.vaccinespotter.org/Select your state, select J&J, and it will show you on a map where it is available. Then you go to the pharmacy's/store's website and make your appointment.

If you live near Chinatown NYC just go into one of the pharmacies there and slip the worker a few hundred bucks. You'll get a real, legit vax card.
