Wars aren't fights in the school yard and they aren't football games. It is problem solving through accomplishing an objective. We accomplished that a long time ago, but we changed it to trying to make it a democracy over there and that doesn't work.

The last time there was a big war where there was a real winner was WWII where the eastern and western fronts met in the middle and there wasn't anything left of Germany. Anyone who didn't accept surrender or had a problem with it was killed on site. No way did German kids go out and throw rocks at US or Soviet troops and get away with it. Japan actually signed an actual doccument saying Surrender.

Best part is that China is prepared to recognize them as the legitimate government and there's not a damn thing we'll do about it.

We could do something but this government will happily concentrate its efforts on more failed wealth redistribution and social justice policies while China reaps in billions of $ of natural resources to modernize its military.
