when tf did fast food get so expensive?

I just ordered a regular meal with fries and a coke. total came out to almost $20. the fuk. might as well just order from a real restaurant. why would anyone pay that kinda money for some stoned high school kid to make their nasty burger?

Habit burger and culvers if I have buy 1 get 1. Buy meat from a local farmer and you can eat high quality food for less than the cost of fast food.

I’ve been saying this for months. Fast good price is ridiculous these days. I haven’t had fast food since last February.

“People eat fast food because it’s cheap and convenient.”

The funny thing is, even though it became more expensive than healthy food, people still consume it. Everyone’s just too lazy to cook or do anything for that matter.

I went to KFC with my ex like 9 months ago and we ordered a fairly regular amount of food for two people and it came to 40$ so I just canceled the order and went to Denny’s.

Man, I go to sonic (the only fast food place I go to) sometimes and my meal comes out to about $9 bucks. Usually a Chicken sandwich, large fries, med Power aide slush. Sometimes I'll add the chili cheese tater tots and it will be $11.

It’s something ridiculous like $45 minimum for my family of four to eat McDonald’s. For $50 we can buy steak from Costco and eat a nice steak dinner for four nights. Most everyone I know realizes the jump in fast food prices and now chose to eat at home because of it.

Been like this for a few years, poverty Mcdouble sandwich alone almost $3 here in Canada LMFAO. Most fast food places have offers in their phones apps that bring the prices down some, but you have to download their app and bloat your phone before you bloat your belly lol.

You need to choose your places to eat based on the various app offers. For example, McDonalds has been giving out their $4-$5 crispy chicken sandwich for free if you spend $1 if the baseball team in your area wins. I'm in the Philadelphia area and I've probably taken advantage of that 30 times this baseball season. Also doordash dashpass has a lot of deals for pickup. And if you have a Chase credit card, you get dashpass free for a year. Wendys has some decent stuff every once in a while too. BK also, they had a whopper for $1 weekly for months but I haven't been there for years. Check out slickdeals.net every once in a while to see if people find good deals on food or anything else.
