A friend of mine is now a millionaire because of this pandemic

He sold his flat at the end of last year for 500k (which he bought 20 yrs ago for 140k)

He invested nearly everything in big German car companies stocks, Biontech and Moderna stocks and jumped on the Bitcoin train when it was at 30k and sold at slightly above 40k.

Dude is old already and now plowing money in luxury restaurants every night and buying a new luxurious flat.

Seems like ppl with money and good advisers got even richer and I didn’t even have 10k on side to invest

This whole thing suks srs

Lol that's nothing, a guy in my city is now worth BILLIONS because of covid. He runs an online casino for American states and because everyone's been locked down and bored they play on his website more (chumba casino/VGW).

Now he's worth 2 billion ~ and makes around 100+ mil just in dividends

Small business was decimated while the largest upward transfer of wealth in human history took place, so yeah…the stock market kept going up.

I know a lady that makes uniforms for private schools. She switched to producing masks and for a year and a half couldnt find enough pockets to stuff money...

Over the span she paid off her house, the cars, completed saving for college kids and stored up F-U money in the bank. She is basically retired at 37.

Right time, right place...

Bruh that's just cherry picking the data. If you start your data set at the lowest point of last year of course it's going to have YUGE gains since then... Tell me how much you're up over your cost basis, because that's really all that matters when you go to cash out.

Yea i got fairly wealthy in the fake pandemic too. Really not hard... money is free, stocks are at all time highs, crypto can spike 40% in one day at any given time with altcoins, and real estate is sky high. I am in preservation mode right now though...i don't see this chit lasting much longer with biden at the helm. Dude could fuk up a wet dream.

Divorce in December of 2019 left me worth about $500k.

I am now worth 3x that with no debt.

Still not at a level of "fuk you" yet. Need a liquid net worth of $3M-$4M before I will feel comfortable.

You sound like a chit friend, the lowest of the low. If said brah were really your friend, or you weren't such a chitty one then you would be happy for him and celebrating with him not being a salty bish about his luck. No wonder he's not inviting you to those fancy dinners or helping you lift yourself up from you situation. Let that sink in.

Your friends strucks a lucky streak and your reaction is "this phucking sucks" let that sink in...

Out of my friends growing up, I have the highest education and net worth. Which doesn’t say much. Real estate investments have helped a lot.
