So the puppetmaster allows for big businesses to grow and organically innovate, and then swoops in to take control of the finished product?

Thing is, the puppetmaster can only do this once before revealing himself, and he can only reap the benefits for a limited amount of time before his organisation or entity has to hand the keys back to the corporation to allow for more innovation.

The puppetmaster can only have a short reign.

Do you think its possible they have a means of prolonging their life? Imagine being the puppetmaster and having a vision for society that wont be implemented untill decades after your natural lifespan. Is the puppet master rewarded intrinsically or externally i wonder?

No, it’s done with one big swooping policy that effects ALL businesses.

Hand the keys back over? The collapse happens very quickly after that. It never gets far enough to hand the keys back over, at least, so far. Look how long Lenin and Stalin’s reign was. Hitler’s. The Weimar Republic. The CCP is the only communist regime that lasted this long.

I could be wrong, but there are too few examples to be certain it will last long enough. My guess is that it will be under climate, or, when food is in short supply, they will take his farm land. If that happens, it will be like a Russia 2.0.
