Makes sense. Was ruled a homicide immediately. Be tough to die from blunt force trauma out in the wilderness/hiking and immediately know it was homicide. Strangulation or a gunshot wound were the front runners.

Urine idiot for asking but they were popular vloggers on Instagram and YouTube and many thousands of people were following their journey. Then one goes missing while the other is on the run, this caused hundreds of thousands of armchair detectives on social media and reddit to start putting together clues and theories on what could have happened. It was actually a pretty compelling mystery with people pulling up footage and logs and all sorts of information. It's been a pretty crazy ride so far.

they barely had any subscribers at the time. I believe their youtube subscriber count was less than 150 people. They just started dabbling into vlogging. Not correct to say they were "popular vloggers"
