Anyone can do whatever they want, but lol @ giving a science fiction author and a college dropout the same credibility as someone actually educated. Doctors are trained to consume the literature and can go through hundreds on a regular day of work.

Vaccine choices are for a large part ideological and everything else is just secondary noise added on. Whatever life expectancy miscers gain by avoiding a vaccine, they piss it away on accumulating cellular damage, oxidation, and telomere shortening on all that time they spend circle jerking the topic to death

Yeah seriously…he supposed to be a medical professional that took an oath, above all, to do no harm…yet here that piece of chit refuses to say his network was lying. How anyone could watch that chitty network is beyond me.

I only watched the segment where Rogan asked him about kids. Sanjay did not give a very good account for himself at all. All he had to do was tell Rogan:

"yeah, I understand where you're coming from. I can understand why people would be hesitant to vaccinate kids when the mortality from Covid among kids and adolescents has been low. But here's the thing, even though mortality has been low, documented adverse effectsfrom the vaccine have been even lower, so it's a net benefit for kids and it helps prevent spread to higher risk populations"

(phrasing in bold is to discount any accounts of side effects he doesn't consider "valid")

That's all he had to say, to regain some semblance of control for the question. I say that as someone whose entire family is unvaccinated so I'm not on Sanjay's side at all, I just can't believe he was so unprepared. Maybe he just couldn't bring himself to admit the logic in Rogan's question.

Gotcha, I'll take a look later.

Does it get even worse for Sanjay? I just can't believe going on the JRE and not expecting some pushback. Maybe it's because he's been doing CNN for so long he's not used to being questioned.

Not really.

Joe was trying to make him understand something about human psyche that Guptua maybe didn't think about......You think dr's are thinking how people think? They're there to heal, not humanize.

Not really what? What are they talking about here? I didn't hear anything about the human psyche. Implied or otherwise.

It sounded to me like the doctor was dodging the fact that the vaccine is more dangerous to children than covid is, so therefore why vaccinate children? Is that correct? I didn't listen to the episode, so maybe this is out of context.

Because medical companies make money and pay off politicians with it.

It's just another scam the government came up with to take taxpayer money.

Gupta starts his covid talk with story of 70yr old nonvaxed man who asked him if vaccine is safe one week after his daughter died from covid. Her last words were "please get vaccinated".

On some areas Gupta is deflecting and full of sht but he also makes a lot of good points. Joe Rogan keeps pulling up studies and doesn't fully understand the results he is reading.

I was not expecting Gupta to make so many good points.

I almost spit out my drink lmao. Starting off his biggest interview with a made up story of the classic younger than average person dying with zero medical history entering the conversation and their last words are to promote vaxxes. This fool tried some CNN level propaganda on Joe and it lasted 2 minutes. He immediately went into anecdotal evidence, not a strong thinker.

Governments in general should've taken in this approach instead of treating people like idiots and adopting a daddy knows best attitude.

Countries that gave a warts and all account of covid and the vaccines (eg Denmark) actually gained more trust among their citizens and have a very high vaccine uptake.

He was unprepared because he didn't respect Rogan or Rogan's audience. If you live in the CNN bubble, you truly believe those outside of the bubble are paste-eating low IQ rubes. He probably assumed his credentials alone were sufficient to win the argument (i.e., that he could reply to every question with "trust me, I'm an actual medical doctor.") because that works within the CNN bubble. Sun Tzu warned to never underestimate your opponent and that's exactly the mistake he made.
