Can confirm, far more proud of my Hungarian heritage than my German currently. Grandpa from Munich, never wants to go back, he'd rather live in Florida. My mom used to vote for Merkel, thinking she was conservative, she even originally ran on a platform telling the older Turk immigrants they either had to start adopting German culture and earn the language, or leave. What a bunch of BS that was....

What do you mean? Are we talking back in time to nomadic Iranian tribes like Scythians and Sarmatians? Paternal Y-Haplogroups in Slav lands are pretty European. If you're talking about the Golden Horde, then sure you can find a minority of people with 1% East Asian genes, but that can come from geographic proximity as well.

Not sure if srs. Never met an ethnic Russian Slav with those features, maybe a Tatar or someone with a father from Dagistan, or a Chukchi grandma. Southern Slavs have maintained more direct paternal descent from pre-Ice Age Europeans although they have larger admixtures from Anatolian farmers.
