One of my favorite views on UFO's is that they're a mental projection of the human imagination/society's collective(group) imagination. UFO sightings are increasing year after year. Could it possibly be, and i venture to say(and submit to say) that there is some truth to this...that we are just imaging them with our minds and are making them appear? Is reality just a projection? Are our thoughts reality?

Seen a UFO when I was younger. Could’ve been some space even like a supernova going off though but there were multiple. Absolutely insane to see but now I give the benefit of the sought to too many stories that are probably bs because of what I saw.

Here’s one about alien abducctions

https://youtu.be/5KZdyTLkuD0

Personally I’m pretty sure aliens=Demons..which is why people are experiencing them much more frequently as of late....but still like to listen to the stories.

Also..why do these “encounters” always happen in some remote town in the middle of Iowa or somethin..?
Or what we used to think of as demons/fae/faeries/elves were just aliens all along and they've always been around influencing humanity? There are a lot of parallels between each with a lot of ancient abduction stories that sound a lot like alien abductions. Graham Hancock's 'Supernatural' goes into tons of detail on it.

OP assumes that the UFO phenomenon must be physical spacecraft commandeered by aliens, that isn't even the thesis that most UFOlogists take the most seriously ATM anyway.

I find the phenomenon interesting, too. I just don't think they are aliens flying around in machines.

If a UFO does have lights, I don't think they're headlamps, so they can see in the dark, they don't even have windshields or windows to see out of. They probably have lights on their spacecraft, because they want to look cool when they're cruising planets they're visiting. That's why you see them jumping around all sporadically in the sky. That's probably the alien version of lowriders with hydraulic lift kits.

Aside from it probably being a byproduct of the propulsion system, the real answer might be far more mind blowing than simply ET's in a nuts and bolts spaceship.

It might just be that these things are actually consciousness related phenomena along with all the other 'unproven' paranomal $hit.

I'm talking actual simulation level schit here.

That's where I lean as of now, not that I think this is true yet, but I would head for an archetypal/transpersonal explanation rather than a mechanistic one. The phenomenon seems to have something to do with human consciousness.

They probably just don't give a **** about clocking their propulsion system & at the same time don't want to interact with a developing species that has nukes.

As the universe is beter suited for machine type civilizations instead of actual living organisms. I'm still leaning towards actual crafts as opposed to "consciousness related phenomena" however interesting that sounds.

Especially as there's no evidence any kind of consciousness can even exist "spiritualy". You can't just create energy or of thin air. There has to be a mechanism behind it. And conscious thought requires a whole lot of energy.

If aliens are smart enough to get here with the insane technology they have then I highly doubt an alien would be on board one, it'll just be an alien drone that's why it can withstand the insane amount of g's UFO's manage to pull off.

I imagine most ufo sightings were just military airplane tests.

Imagine living in the 70s. Before the internet and mass media. You look up one day and see a ****ing F117 Nighthawk fly by. You'd never think it was just a military aircraft.

100% of these vids are released by the government, and every person has a high res video camera in his pocket. that's all you need to know. giant hoax, and they're gonna run a giant hoax soon. if you think this virus hoax and the climate hoax are bad, just wait til the ufo hoax. it will be impossible to maintain even a tiny level of respect for the absolutely braindead normies who believe it.

There do appear to be some similarities to the way both the government and media are treating this UFO subject and other recent subjects like covid. That whole navy UAP thing plastered all over the media, investigated by a senate committee, etc.....almost zero rational, scientific, skepticism in sight anywhere. Barely mentioned (if at all) that those navy videos have been thoroughly dealt with for years now, and are almost certainly just mundane objects such as planes or balloons. Nothing remarkable about the videos based on what's on the screen, and yet here we are, with a govt senate committee worried about super-advanced foreign technology, media pushing the narrative about aliens in the sky (in some kind of "official" sense since the videos were from the govt)......nonsense, and bad journalism. And yet people consume this stuff without an ounce of skepticism.

No, there is not evidence of aliens playing games in the sky.

Im from the city but this incident was out in the sticks, predawn hours while going to a spot to fish. Basically looked like a weird cluster of stars or planets that were chillin for a while while being slightly brighter than the surrounding stars. Then all of a sudden they flashed super bright, enough to make shadows while the sun was just starting to come up. The light faded quickly but not fully, I could still see the lights in the sky after the sun was mostly up and the other stars disappeared.

i like this theory

also i believe having a lucid dream with a lower oxygen intake makes that lucid dream feel more real than reality srs (you know they've already experimented this phenomena)

Why were all scared of death i'll never know, anythings gotta be better than the mundane thats human life anyone who says other wise isnt clever enough to understand

Seeing something thatisthere- be it a plane, atmospheric effect, astronomical object- is a perfectly reasonable explanation, and more likely imo than someone seeing nothing at all but thinking they see something. Both of those being explanations for sightings that are at least on the honest side of the spectrum. On the dishonest side, there is almost certainly outright fraud/hoax going on as well- people like to tell these stories for various reasons: to push the narrative of aliens, for the attention (human nature), etc.
