Yes because people are obsessed with treating this chit like the casino. 1% of crypto investors actually believe in the projects, the rest are in it to get rich quick. Those numbers are bullschit but you get the idea. Look at Shib and Doge, all these normies see cost=fractions of cents and automatically think they could be worth a dollar someday with an already bloated market cap. Dumb money is being harvested by smart money and it's all about finding the next trendy meme coin. Crypto is hot right now, youtube is littered with bullchit everywhere because everyone is a genius in this bull market. You want solid advice? Take a chit in your hand and clap. Newish to the game, building the foundation of my portfolio. so for eth it sounds dumb to buy in at near ATH, but if I’ve got the belief it’s still gonna make a bigger run, is it still considered fomo’ing in to hop in now? Or should I wait for a dip of some kind

Everyone wants something different out of this thread.

If I post about XRP or XLM, nobody bashes or hates but they're labeled slow, boring stable coins. Someones posts about low MC coins and it's dubbed a shill/scam. The best one can do for a fellow miscer is tell them which exchange to use and how to sign up.

Most of the people starting out are all asking about shib or finally start to buy into the crypto hype they're hearing about.

Everything is a chit coin, everything is hype and an idea. A figure of imagination like the US dollar.

This sounds farfetched, but what if EMP? What if electrical/internet outage or some catastrophic event? All of crypto is ultimately a scam.

This is all simply a product of the current environment. Everyone should take it for what it is. Sounds like a few people are would be happier if they were speaking to themselves and have this thread be a ghost town. It's a great time for crypto, take advantage and capitalize. Best advice. Buy SHIB, and Elon's dog coin. Fuk it. None of the new comers are looking to do long term investing/accumulation.

Buy a position right now and keep making contributions weekly/bi-weekly/monthly and dont touch. I see ETH eventually making it to 10k-20k and beyond in the next 5 years.

Put in 1/4 of what you want to invest now if you got nothing, then buy the dips. The more the dip, the more you buy.

If no dips, buy a tiny bit daily. Aka dca. If everything is green, do not fomo. Wait for pullbacks.

Set your limit buys, for example yesterday bitcoin dipped all the way to 58,000 just for a very short period of time, you should have your Robin Hood or Webull or coin base pro limit order set, to buy a little bit at 59,000 a little more at 58,000 and more at $57k should we get that lucky.
